Small request for the purposes of accuracy. @DPI Wizard

The 1x scope (such as nydar sight) when FOV scaled is ON, is not actually the same FOV as hipfire anymore like it was in BF1. There is a very slight zoom which would technically throw off the calculations if someone matched from it to another game. At the moment the calculator shows it as having the same FOV.

It's a tiny detail, but if something is worth doing, it's worth doing right.

You are absolutely right, I missed that! Updated it now ;)

Can anybody explain, when I'm converting sensitivity from aimtastic to bf5 in menu "Uniform soldier sensitivity" is "on", but in results it is "off".

Have I to turn set this option to "0" in config file and in game "off"?

I found my comfortable sensitivity in aimtastic (3.11 you can see a screenshot in last post), could you help me to convert it correctly to to bf5. No hints, just setting 0% in conversation methods, and using results in game right?

In bf5 feels good with hip fire ads and 3x, but with 6x seems to be a bit slower than it should be.

What I should to do to feel hipfire, ads and every scopes just natural as my sensitivity in aimtastic?

 Will appreciate help, thank you.

It's not off when the coefficient is 0. 0 means the same as MDV 0%.

If you turn USA off and set all aims to 1 in BFV scopes will scale the same as with relative zoom sens 38 in aimtastic.

Got it.

No, you got me wrong, I meant  hip fire, ads, and scopes in bf5 the same as hip fire in aimtastic (as you showed in your last YouTube video). It’s something wrong with relative zoom in aimtastic, it’s too slow if I’m using 38. I think it’s calculating proportionally wrong to hip fire in your calculator (try it pls, to know if I’m right).

I want to train 1 sensitivity hipfire sensitivity in aimtastic, and use it for all games and scopes Converting it by your program. Is it possible?

Here is a good description of USA:

https://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/forum/threadview/2979150494051524581/

If I understood everything correctly, if I want to use my hipfire aimtastic sensitivity on every scope and feel it naturally, I have to turn USA on, then set USA coefficient to 1.33, set soldier aim sens all to 1, and set it for every scope 1 in config file. And that’s it.

Unfortunately I’m without pc right now, when I’ll try, I give a feed back here.

Just read that for 4:3 USA coefficient is 1.33, for 16:9 1.78, for my monitor 21:9 it is 2.33. Am I right?

I don’t have so much time to adjust this in game, that’s why I’m asking so many questions here, I want to make settings in game right away and just play.

That's if you want 100% MDH match. This is generally not considered the best method, 0% is (USA 0).

In my opinion just go with 1.33 its also the csgo default. If u use 0 and u use hard zoom weapons example the sniper the sensitivity is to slow.

1.33 feels the sensitivity is the same, but 0 is the mathematically correct way.

So ur decision if u go by feel or the math way.

Thank you for answer, I’ll try. I’ve written before that I feel naturally in hipfire, ads and 3x with coefficient 0, but 6x is too slow for me. Now I see what’s the reason.

@DPI Wizard

The calculator seems to be working fine for all soldier aims, but it seems to have problems with vehicle aims.  In particular, very low sensitivities (81cm/360 at default zoom of 74 FOV, 16:9 aspect ratio), the vehicle aims actually cause the motion to go in the opposite direction as intended.  For example, attempting to rotate a turret left makes it go right, and attempting to look up makes aims downwards.  I noticed that at these low sensitivities, the soldier aim itself is negative.  Inverting it isn't enough to fix the problem unfortunately.  I have tried with both USA on and off, and Uniform Vehicle Aiming on and off as well.  For now, I'm just trying to approximate what I want manually.  Any ideas of what could be going on here?  Thanks!

Good morning and happy new years for everyone. I wonder if I look stupid but can help me make the calculations for the sensitivity of the mouse and the results that we will get to transfer them to the game? We know if it sounds stupid but it's the truth. First time I go to the site as I encounter several problems with BFV and one of them is also the sensitivity of the mouse. I'm sorry about my bad English.

Thank’s so much it helped me a lot with 6x scope! With coefficient 1,33 and zoom sens 1 it feels natural.

Now I want to compare it with coefficient 0 and zoom sens 1 in every scope, I’ve tried with coefficient 0 and sens 0,73 in Every scope, as in calculator’s result, but it was too low for me.

Btw why if I’m trying to convert hip fire from aimtastic to bf5 all sens, it calculates me sens for every scope 0,73 with USA on 0. Why it’s not 1 for every scope? When I’m trying to convert bf5 hip fire to all scopes bf5, it gives me 1 sens to all scopes with USA 0.

Hi,

I am very confused.. First time playing a game with so many options..

In quake engine, my sens is 1. For the same inch/360, how much would that be in BFV?

For any zoom/tank/HMG, I want the same monitor distance, how much would it be for each?

Thanks a lot

Using 0% monitor distance. Something isn't right here.

Interesting bug. It seems to show 166.2426 cm regardless of what settings you use in the calculator.

Hi,

Seems the bug is still there?

image.thumb.png.9f12160a5c2efdb3c58ea38202ac33f3.png

Before it was calculating very close to one for the multiplier. To use USA correctly, wouldn't all the other scopes have to be "1" or something close. Anyways, I double checked it because the scope felt artificially slow after changing all those values to  .694087. I think it should be 1, (it used to be like .989) Not sure how the calculation works but it's definitely slow and felt wrong.
