Posted June 14Jun 14 A lot of siege player (myself included) and pros run a stretched 4:3 aspect ratio. After googling a bit I came across a comment in the forum, that stated aspect ratio doesnt effect the actual sensitivity as in 360*/cm but how it "feels".So I tested it out with a ruler and two objects, and it become quickly clear that using a stretched aspect ratio changes horizontal monitor distance/cm .The calculator currently only shows yaw sensitivity across most of the scopes, so the average user (or just dumb dumb me) never becomes aware of that fact. You need to seperately match "hipfire vertical" between your native and the stretched aspect ratio, which is the only calculation that has pitch and yaw as separate in and outputs. For some reason the ratio is applied the wrong way so gotta use the pitch output as your yaw/horizontal sense in game.Did I miss anything here? I felt kinda dumb when I found this out after years of playing, then again, literally every pro in this game doesnt seem to be aware or deliberately runs 1:1 yaw/pitch on a stretched aspect ratio.
