Are you at 1000 Hz polling rate? I don't see any issues here at 1000 Hz, but I have not tested any higher yet.

Yes, at 100Hz. I think its tied to the framerate drops / inconsistency where the sens changes depending on frames, i also notice it more when hip firing. I don't think it was like this in past Battlefield games and my mates all said the same. Not too much on an issue now, still feels pretty good after using your tool.

Thanks for this great tool.

You are setting the sensitivty for Vehicles defaulting the base and only changing Multiplikators. So jets mouse sensitivity (aiming from cockpit) are not affected.

Can we have an option to set the base sensitivity (GstInput.MouseSensitivityVehicle) and apply it all across the vehicles with GstInput.VehicleSensitivityX 1.000000 (Jets/Helis included) modifying only the additional ones like 3rd View for Tanks/Gunner etc. with Multiplikators?

This is already possible by using the "All Vehicles" aim, but jets and helis are not supported due to how the sensitivity work with their movement.

Thanks. I'm aware of the option. What I meant was the addition to freely set GstInput.MouseSensitivityVehicle in the calculator so that we can modify our jets movement speed (for example increase it), but still have fixed sens for tanks and gunners. Can still do it manually anyway, so just a suggestion.

Anyone else feel like there's some kind of aim acceleration / mouse smoothing even with raw mouse input on (default)?

yes, it does feel like something is wrong. I am also on 1000hz polling rate. just feels off.

Same here. Using a Viper V3 Pro @ 1000Hz and something doesn't feel quite right.

What I've noticed is that the problem almost seems to fluctuate. Sometimes my sensitivity feels mostly OK, and then there are times when it feels noticeably 'floaty' as if there's some smoothing being applied. It almost reminds me of the feeling when Vsync is enabled, only not quite as much input lag. It just doesn't feel like I'm getting true 1:1 mouse movements, especially coming from Battlefield 2042 and even Delta Force, both of which feel fantastic to me from a mouse input standpoint.

I'm still trying to determine what exactly is causing this. One theory I have is that the responsiveness differs based on the frame rate. Perhaps when in areas with lots of chaos going on, when the frame rate dips below a certain threshold, mouse latency suffers? I don't think I've ever dropped below ~70 FPS, but I'm going to try and monitor it more closely over the coming days/playtests to see if I can figure out for sure what the culprit is. I've already messed with loads of settings, including video settings, to no avail. And of course, "Raw Mouse Input" has been left on by default and "Future Frame Generation" has also been left off by default.

If I ever figure out for sure what's causing it on my end, I'll pop back into this discussion and leave an update. Until then, if you guys or anyone else figures out what exactly is going on, please do share any information you come across!

Is the uniform soldier aimoing any diffenrent from COD (MW§ & BO6)? If I set the everything like the following, the aiming in BF6 feels way slower and not responsive:

Maybe if have done some wrong?

Should I add the value for each individual scope to the config while USA is off and set in on after I started the game?

Thank you for your help

This is correct and should be exactly the same. Note that there has been some reports of sensitivity fluctuation etc in the beta, this might be what you are experiencing.

This is so weird, i have seen other people and streamers that do tons of testing, report that the sensitivity has never been better, they are over the moon of how good it is like Fr33ty and Enders, and that BF2042 sens is broken bad!

I myself have yet to experience any issues with the aiming. Bu not saying there isn't any issues, it would not come as a surprise to me, we have seen issues before with sensitivity in BF.

To me it's also perfect with no issues. But remembering how BFV had polling rate issues and the beta even had smoothing issues in some cases, there might be corner cases where something like hardware, software or settings makes some players have issues. Hopefully they will smooth it out before release.

@DPI Wizard I'm a bit confused as to where I'm supposed to enter this 67.1 - I don't see a separate "Zoom Aim Sensitivity", only "Infantry Zoom Aim Sensitivity" which I've set to 100 like it says. Am I just blind or something. FYI I'm using in-game rather than config for now, just so I don't have to jump out. All feels fine, I'm just unsure if I'm missing something simple - this beta UI is ... not so great. Comprehensive .. but not so great

This might be a bug, but you have to set Uniform Aiming to "off" to show the individual zoom sensitivities, then you can set them and switch back to "on" and they will take effect. In your case though, you can just set the "Infantry Zoom Aim Sensitivity" to 67.1 instead (you can manually do this in the multiplier 1 field in the calculator as well), and it will have the same effect as setting them all to the same value.

Yeah your probable right.

Maybe I don't play enough shooter games, but this is the first time I've seen a game acknowledge the inch/360 or cm/360 measurement. Mr. Mouse-Sensitivity might be changing the industry.

No, nothing has been updated. You have probably changed some settings like FOV or something?

Maybe, didn't think so but good to know it's me and not the calc.

Hi DPI wizard. Long time user of your services. 10 years + for sure. Wonder what your first games with the calculator were?

The FOV on BF6, I know you posted something on it, but what have they done. My FOV on BF2042 was 73, if I put 73 in the config file, its comes out at 105. Which is fine, but I dont really understand why

Love your work...

In the calculator it says FoV type: Multiplier. Previous battlefields from BF4 to BF2042 it was Vertical degrees.

In the config file the value is the same as before, it's only in-game that is different.

Here's a snapshot of the game list 12 years ago, which was pretty much the first iteration. The first game was BF3!
