You are right, this game was added before support for different FOV types. Updated it now

Absolutely correct, a few games needs this updated actually as they haven't been tested in ultrawide. I've updated the Borderlands games now.

there is config file in Documents/mygames/borderlands2/willowgame/config called WillowInput where you can change the sensitivty, i was able to change my sensitivty to 14 by changing the number in that file

For me the fov is hfov based on 16:9 and not 4:3 like the calculator says. So 90 fov in the settings are 90 hfov ingame not not 106.26. I had to Change it in the Settings to 106.

I'm actually playing this game right now :D

I don't think setting sensitivity through the file works though, as you might have noticed the MouseSensitivity value is 60 no matter what you set it to in-game. I don't think the value is read/written to the file. Will investigate some to make sure!

Hey DPI Wizard,

Thanks for adding this game to the list of sensitivity calculations!

I just had one question: how does one adjust the game's sensitivity to be lower than the in-game value of 10?

Also, is it possible to use a custom sensitivity value that is in between the default values e.g. something like 4.4 with 800 DPI?

I'm chiefly asking, as neither of these options are currently doable.

It's possible with the use of Cheat Engine, but it's a bit tricky if you don't know how to use it. And I think it reset every time you quit the game.

There's also a python script method, but I haven't tried it.

I think the fov type is wrong for this game. The way I understand Hdeg Res is that the game basically "zooms in" the wider the aspect ratio. Like in Overwatch  https://imgur.com/a/kBFIc

But this game adds more to the sides of the screen like it should.

If my understanding is correct I believe the correct type is Hdeg based on 16:9

In fact I think all the Borderlands games fov types are wrong except for the non enhanced 1st game. Which does appear to use Hdeg Res.20200511202411_1.thumb.jpg.5bb1f0f1d8714d21243e4359adcab6f9.jpg20200511202345_1.thumb.jpg.1c575500099b177458eecd26751460bc.jpg

The Pre Sequel, Goty Enhanced are both just like 2 I believe.

I don't own 3 yet but it appears to show more on the sides as well.

I couldn't change mouse sensitivity lower than 10. The sensitivity claculator says to edit the profile.ini but that doesn't work...

I found this .exe and it works!

I found it here: https://github.com/biggestcookie/Borderlands-Sensitivity-Changer

Nice! Yeah, the config file can be hard to get correct in this game.

sorry to necro but using the tool linked on github do you know how to translate the values from calculator to 1-255?

Use the whole number in parenthesis when using the config file calculation, so in this example it would be 20:

ah gotcha, I thought that was something for the hex editor

correct me if I'm wrong, but the Borderlands sens tool doesn't support decimal input yes?
