Charged for an extra month, help?

Featured Replies

I purchased a monthly subscription here on the 16th of October for £2.68. I then cancelled my subscription sometime around the 12th of November as I did not want/need to use the service for another month, and therefore did not want to pay for a second month. Yet it turns out Mouse-Sensitivity.com had actually took another £2.65 out of my bank on the 9th of November. DESPITE my initial purchase being on the 19th...

Why charge me without my knowledge 7 days earlier than you should have for a second month?

And how do I get my money back. I payed for one month and cancelled it before that month long period ended. There is absolutely no reason for you to charge me for an extra month before I've even finished my first one...

Apparently a one month subscription on this website lasts for two months? Seriously? Do you guys not know what you are selling!?!?!?! It says 1mo right there. So why the hell does it expire in December when it was purchased on October.

What happens is that a renewal invoice is generated 10 days before the subscription expires. If you pay with Paypal this invoice will be withdrawn from your Paypal account on the day of expiration. But with credit card it will be withdrawn immediately upon invoice creation, i.e. 10 days before expiration.

Unfortunately I can't control this as it is built into the framework the site is based on, but I have asked the devs to change this behavior as it is not desirable.

A refund is obliviously no problem.

Ah okay that makes sense. I'm not sure if that is stated anywhere or if I missed it. I would like a refund since I didn't actually intend on purchasing the second month.

Thanks for your help and quick reply Wizard!
