Featured Replies

trying to get back into bad company 2 and don't remember that slight mouse lag ever being a problem, but that was on old windows xp, i'm using windows 8.1 64 bit and have put the game in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AppCompatFlags\Layers, which fixes most games, also markc mouse fix has already been done, anyone know something else for this game?

Pretty sure it's the Steam version of the game that has the acceleration and that the Origin version is fine.

true, old game, no synapse, ss rival 300 at 1000hz, tried lowing it but that doesn't make a difference, disable cortana via regedit?, thats a windows 10 feature isn't it, or do you mean disable DWM aero/desktop composition or whatever that is, might go and sus that out

Ignore the cortana thing, indeed its an annoyance that only windows 10 has.
It's a shame that such a polished game has bad input and acceleration.
"Yaw and pitch factor must be set to 0.5 for the calculations to be correct." - you did that I assume ?

yeah its set to 0.5, knowing all this mouse sensitivity, proper fov and calculation stuff guess i didn't notice these things years ago, cheers for the suggestions though

The Origin version worked very well for me without any tuning. The Steam and old DVD versions are horrible.

do you have vsync on?

changed Scheme0Sensitivity=0.350000 to Scheme0Sensitivity=0 last night just to see what would happen, it definitely affects and slows down mouse movement, which makes me think would you get  a better  calculation if  it was set to Scheme0Sensitivity=0.500000, same with every other value there?
