I need help with mouse sensitivity in cs go and bf hardline

Featured Replies

In cs go I have a sensitivity of 2.5 at 400 dpi. Resolution 1440x900 (16:10). How can I transfer this sensitivity to bf hardline? I know that bf hardline is used in vdeg fov. I have it 90. And what kind of fs in cs go? What type and what value? What kind of sensitivity should I put in bf hardline? If it's not difficult, could you suggest the same with Fortnite, where the resolution is also 1440x900?

And again: if it is not difficult, which fov to put in the game of Aim Hero, if in Fortnite there is a fov 80 Hdeg Res?

Nah.

Only games that change the fov based on the user's aspect ratio will need to have their sensitivity recalculated. Check in the calculator what the actual fov values are. If the vertical remains the same, then the fov within the square aspect ratio was unchanged, and the sides were just cropped.

Why?

If you change your aspect ratio by reducing the horizontal length, and the opposite fov (vertical) changes, that means the game has zoomed in or out to preserve the horizontal fov. A change in zoom needs a new sensitivity value if you are using any fov based converison method (everything except 360 distance).

If, for example, I have a 4: 3 aspect ratio and a mouse sensitivity of 2.5 in cs go and I want to change the aspect ratio to 16:10, then I need another mouse sensitivity?

You will have 10 more HFOV when going from 4:3 to 16:10. So, your sensitivity will feel slower ( at smaller degrees of movement ) if you keep it at 2.5. But a 360 turn will take the exact amount of distance on your pad.

The square aspect ratio still has 73.74 degrees. The game didn't zoom in or out, it is the same projection, so you don't need a new sensitivity. You just see more of the projection horizontally with a 16:10 resolution compared to 4:3. Everything should feel exactly the same (ignoring any performance decrease and assuming the resolution is not stretched).
