Rainbow Six -> CSGO

Featured Replies

I change many of the R6 sens's of my friends to CS:GO, but I have a question.. the site says state the "FOV" for R6. For this I put "121.285" as that makes the config fov to be 90? Is that correct or not as my mates play 90 in game but I might play 86 so do I put 86 or like "117.xx"

2nd question) When I write in the csgo fov, I cant put 90 as csgo only has a cap of 68. So do I put 68 or not? Im just confused as it creates to FOV's in the results area that say HFOV and VFOV and i dont know which one is the one for the game I am playing.

There are several different FOV types to consider. R6 uses vertical degrees, and the calculator automatically switches to the correct type for the game. If you want the same FOV as in CSGO, you switch the type to "Hdeg 4:3" (which is what CSGO uses) and enter 90 as it is in CSGO. The output will tell you the config FOV for R6 to get this FOV:

This get people confused quite a lot, 68 is the viewmodel FOV, not the actual first person FOV. fov_cs_debug is the correct variable for the FOV.

Ok so may you help me with a full sensitivity conversion between R6 and CSGO?

I play on 12 Horizontal, 12 Vertical, 60 Aim Down Sights (which is a multiplier) on Rainbow Six. I play 16:9 aspect ratio and on CS:GO I play 16:9 too.

I use 400DPI, use a Viewmodel FOV of 68.00 on CSGO and my FOV on Rainbow Six Siege is 86.

How would I convert that? I want to learn to do this so I can help other people like my friends too.

Furthermore, the options available are very, very confusing for R6. There's all w/ACOG? all w/ADS? ACOG alone, Hipfire and Iron sight / holo. How would I make it so when they aim down the sight on any scope, it converts that sensitivity to CSGO's hipfire? Which one would I choose

For example in this photo - I don't believe the conversion has worked correctly. I put in the values of my Rainbow Six Siege Sens for Horizontal (= vertical) and my ADS, then put every detail in, selected the second game as CSGO and instantly it says that even with 400 DPI, my ACOG sens converts to 2.99 in game on CSGO. That's ridiculously fast especially for hipfire on csgo, one swipe of my mouse I'd be doing circles it's practically uncontrollable, the outcome of the conversion doesn't seem realistic as I used to play at 1.2 - 1.7 sens on csgo, that's what I believe is a good and controllable sens.

well,  in that case just set scope to 360° distance in the conversion setup and you will end up with sensitivity "1.312594".
