November 21, 2024Nov 21 Not sure if this is allowed or where this fits in, but on MacOS there's a free app called LinearMouse that lets you set (a) sensitivity and (b) acceleration. I keep (b) acceleration off, but with 400 DPI and 2560x1440 27" resolution, I wanted to know what was the same sensitivity as my windows desktop at 6/11 sens, 400 DPI, 2560x1440p 27" resolution (pointer precision off). The sensitivity ("Tracking Speed") slider goes from 0 to 20, with 4 decimal places. Right now I use (a) sensitivity ("Tracking Speed") of 0.25 as it seems somewhat close in left to right screen mouse movement distance equating to about the same mousepad distance as windows.
