Same sensitivity different game but feel faster

Featured Replies

My rainbow six:siege sensitivity is Hipfire:11 ADS:78 400DPI FOV:90 and than I go to set the PUBG sensitivity to same 360 but I feel the PUBG sensitivity is faster, Why?

My PUBG sensitivity : Hipfire:54

                                      ADS:59

I have one more question! How to use the calculator in this website? Example: the hipfire is use 360 distance or what? And the Ads is also use the 360 distance? Please help!🙏

(Sorry for my poor English!!)

Yes. I would read through the stickied post by Skidushe so you form a better understanding of the fundamentals.

Games use different types of FOVs , the 90 fov on r6 is not the same as pubg . in order for you to have the same feeling you need to have the same fov for each game .

the 90 fov in r6 is 121 on pubg as you can see ( if the FOV slider in pubg goes that far )

i just dont think the pubg fov goes that high , if you want to be sure you can ask @DPI Wizard  . also if you are using the 4:3 aspect ratio make sure to do it in the calculator as well .

ps : the feeling of going from 4:# to 16:9 is not gonna be the same so you either put pubg on 4:3 as well or just go for something that feels good for you , use the calculator to find as close as possible sensitivity and adjust it from there .

Look i'm not sure if the one i did is right and if there is a way to set it up 100% perfectly but if i was gonna do it for myself it would look something like this Capture.thumb.PNG.6ea8b90821aa8a511df8eed33138f0f8.PNG

again try this but if you see an answer from someone more experienced ( hopefully from dpi wizard ) change it to that .

Thank you! I will try it!

In my opinion you should always set the FOV to the same type in the calculator,  and let it work out the value for you to configure depending on the output game.

As below, BF1 uses vertical FOV, and Black ops 4 uses Horizontal resolution based FOV. By inputting "90 vertical" for the output game, it automatically gives me the correct config value for horizontal 16:9, in this case 121.28.

So, that mean I need to go to the config file to set the fov 121?
