i was just wondering if there is any point using 1080x1080 or 1440x1440 with blackbars ? the game is gonna look the same and feel the same but will the game actually feel more 1:1 ?

there can not be more than 1:1 if 1:1 is already 1:1 

the only difference would be a different fov
