question with mouse acceleration

Featured Replies

I know the saying that using mouse accel is a bad thing. I wanted to try it because I've seen some people use it.

In TF2 there is an option for acceleration I have it on 1.5 how would I translate that to to other games.

If I do use acceleration on windows will all the newer games automatically disable it ex: battlefield 5, MW, Fortnite etc....

there is a couple of programs helping with uniform accel ,however some games block it due to anticheat reasons and without those programs it is nearly impossible to get a uniform sense going with accel thus only few use it

ok im using atm intercept mouse accel I don't thing games can block it ???

It's only faceit that blocks the Interception driver. They don't ban for it.

The reason they block it has nothing to do with mouse accel, the interception driver has many different dependencies in many different use cases, and is just a lazy approach since in theory there could be some cheats that make use of it, so they thought, what the hell, lets just block it.

Of course, the correct approach is to actually ban the cheats, not to blanket block a legitimate driver.

Nothing wrong with mouse acceleration , it's just difficult to find a comfortable sensitivity in different games that gives you a sense of similarity

the windows and in-game accelerations are pretty bad tho

check out the Povohat's acceleration , you can set the curve and max speed and pretty much customize it for yourself . i have used it in r6 for a while and nothing was triggered with the anti cheat so maybe it works just the same with other things . goodluck
