for hipfire 360 is the way to go whilst for aim / ads/ scope you should test out 75%/100% horizontal or 0% (133%/ 178% or 0 vertical)

something you want to do is matching the hipfire fov throughout all of the games so since you mentioned csgo id recommend going for 73.74vertical fov with 106.26 horizontal fov

alrite thx btw another question not sure how much u know bout it but whats the difference between dpis, until recently i thought it didnt matter but apparently on high dpi more of ur small movements get registered while on lower less get registered so its easier for example to move ur mouse in a straight line, whats better tho

The biggest difference is higher dpi's have a floaty, lighter feel, since it's smoother at very, very ,very slow speeds. Some players like this, other's don't. None is "better" objectively, although it is not recommended to go lower than 400 or above 6400. It's also only really noticeable on high refresh monitors and high frame rates.

On older sensors high dpi's didn't always track as well, but that is really a thing of the past now. Anything like a 3360 variant, hero sensor or 3310 will track perfectly at, say 3200 dpi.

The only other situation where dpi is important is if using a custom mouse accel curve, with higher dpi's being objectively preferable.

A lot of the reason people still use a low dpi is because the way the windows OS handles dpi; i.e it is coupled with cursor speed. So in some games or programs, it's not possible to set the mouse sens low enough if you use higher dpi's.

personally believe that this topic is mostly over rated and tend to stick to the lower dpi range out of pure preference 400/800 cpi , there have been players calling out pixel skipping in the lower ranges but in the end it should not really matter in modern games since 800cpi with 2 is pretty much the same thing as 400 cpi with 4

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

polling rate not dpi/cpi

this topic is similar to 500hz polling vs 1000hz polling one is objectively more "reactive" for better or worse and the end result does not necessary change (although 1000hz is objectively better when used with gsync/ high refresh rate)

others prefer 500hz because it feels "smoother" less bumpy

preference is king
