Vertical sense CSGO 4:3 str to Pubg?

Featured Replies

Hi folks,

Pardon if there are some incorrect assumptions in this question, I'm not a math wiz.  I was wondering if there's something I should do to correct for an inherent difference that occurs when using 4:3 stretched res in terms of your horizontal vs vertical sensitivity.  I recently switched to 4:3 stretched (on 16:9 monitor) in CS:GO and some have suggested that when you do this, the vertical and horizontal sens is then inconsistent.  Basically, is there a setting/console command I should do in CS:GO to get a more consistent vert sense?  For example I use 1.0 vert sens multiplier in pubg, and have 90 FOV to be consistent with my horizontal FOV in CS:GO.  Since my res in pubg isn't stretched, I would assume that while the horizontal sense in the two games is now identical, the vert for CS:Go is off.

Let me know if this isn't worded in an understandable way or if more information is required.  I appreciate any help in advance!

Regards

Yes, setting the m_yaw to 0.0165 will make the tracking speed of the horizontal and vertical axis the same. This will change your horizontal sensitivity though, so you might have to re-calculate it. Y

Thanks, this seems to be just what I needed.  I changed the M_Yaw to that number, noticed the sens felt too slow, and adjusted.  I also messed with the calculator to help me find the right number since I remembered the 360 distance was ~22 inches.

Basically I did this:
