Sensitivity from fast ADS games to CSGO hipfire

Featured Replies

Hi,

While I have used the converter to calculate sensitivity from games such as BF4 to CSGO hipfire, it appears my BF4 and PUBG sens and any other game that utilises an ADS function really doesnt translate well to CSGO.

I use Uniform Soldier Aiming in BF4 at 0% coefficient (all ADS numbers at 100%) and also use this data to convert to all other games.  However, using the Red Dot sensitivity to calculate a sens for csgo just feels way too fast for CSGO due to how the game is played.  I also use the Target FOV option which has been a great feature recently.

Does this mean that my BF4 sens is actually too fast for me to handle, considering i cant control CSGO at the same sensitivity?  If I lower my BF4 sens to what i feel comfortable with in CSGO, hipfire sens in BF4 is way too slow to be efficient and that also includes PUBG and other games.

I guess my question is, considering CSGO requires a level of accuracy not found in games such as BF4, and considering BF4 is played in a much faster manner than CSGO, how should i go about finding a sens that is appropriate for games such as BF4 and also CSGO?  Should I just pick a random sens for CSGO that is workable, or is their a mathematical way to solve my issue that isnt just arbitrarily deciding a different sens across these two games?

Some players I have spoken to use a high hipfire sens in BF4 with an ADS speed lower than 100% (for example 60%) and they use this ADS sens to calculate their CSGO hipfire sens, which is fine for them. However, considering I use USA and also have ADS sens at 100%, this does not work for me.

Any help would be warmly appreciated.

Regards, mako

So this will make your hipfire in CSGO exactly the same as hipfire in BF4 (since you're using MDV 0% both in the calculator and in BF4) , but it feels too fast in CSGO?

You could try to match the ADS to hipfire using 360 distance instead and see if that feel better.

so you think i could try to match the actual distance, rather than the sensitivity?  Wont this mess with muscle memory though, considering ADS in BF4 is at a different FOV, and im using the same sens across all games?

and in PUBG for example, or MW distances are all different, again

It will mess with it in terms of aiming yes. Navigation will be the same, but that's usually not relevant for aims unless you run a lot around aimed.

No that it makes a difference in this case (the result will be the same either way), but why are you converting from ADS to hipfire, and not hipfire to hipfire?

i used to match Hipfire BF4 to CSGO hipfire, but that was before I played PUBG with insane recoil and i increased my BF4 sens. I have learned the new faster sens but now i cant play CSGO like this haha
