@DPI Wizard but surely the calculator should still return 1.6 or 1.65 for the zoom in game since that's what the game sets

You can't set the sensitivity to 4.07 in-game, so the calculation is basing the ADS sensitivity on a sensitivity of 4. If you switch to Advanced mode you will see that the 360 distances are as close as they can be within the confines of the amount of decimal places available. Also note that the ADS sensitivity in this game scales logarithmically. Here's a direct conversion between the two hipfire sensitivities: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=3e4c3ddbdfd0837ece7d3f1f0a19ce74

  • You would have to edit the FOV settings in this location for it to take effect ...Cyberpunk 2077\r6\config\settings\platform\pc\options.json "options": [ {

  • Also very strange that they made the slider opposite (higher value is slower speed), as it caps out very quickly compared to what some probably want. Go above the max value of 2 in the config does not

  • (1/x)^zoomsensitivity seems to be the multiplier applied. x being 1.1, 1.2, or 1.5 depending on weapon. 0 = 1x. 2 = 1.21x, 1.44x, or 2.25x slower. For zoom fovs, it seems to subtract but it varies per

Gotcha, OK. It's close enough that if I pick up a new weapon, I don't immediately have to quit game and go into the config, so it's not an issue really. Just curious. Probably could have given it a bit more thought before asking 👍 Thanks for the fast answers.

btw @DPI Wizard there are a few weapons missing from the calculator. Some that were added in later patches. Kyubi and Nue, for example .. but others I noticed too, that I can't recall right now.

Just in case you didn't know. 👍

Seems like patch 2.1 might have borked editing the options.json file. I tried changing the max FOV to 130 and then 110, and both times it threw an error. Changing them back allows me to play.

Anybody else having this issue?

Still works here. Are you editing the correct options.json file? And just changing 100 to 130 for instance, and nothing else?

That was the issue. I was editing the "FieldOfView" value in the options.json, and not in the UserSettings.json. Setting the value back to 80.0 in the options.json and 104.95 in UserSettings.json fixed my issue.

Thank you for the quick response.

Someone released a mod to set different sensitivities depending on the sights (iron sights, short scope, long scope) https://www.nexusmods.com/cyberpunk2077/mods/15304 , not entirely sure on which scopes are being referred to based on the vague names. Would it be possible to add this?

This took a few days, but I've added every single weapon and support for all scopes now.

If you don't use the mod, you can just enter the additional zoom from the scope into the Sensitivity 2 field, and find the correct sensitivity for your weapon in the list.

If you use the mod, you also have to find the corresponding scope type in the list as mentioned in the blue text or in the aim name.

Note that this mod works by directly changing your hipfire sensitivity back and forth based on scope type etc. And the mod is missing some scope types, so these are instead affected by your hipfire sensitivity.

Hi @DPI Wizard

I'm a little confused, maybe I'm missing something.

Haven't played this for a couple of years and have come back for 2.3 and bought Phantom Liberty. I have a text doc I made back then (for easy access) with loads of values from the calculator and it's got all values for the reflex type sights, like OS1 Gimlet, Add-vantage etc. Those values are different to ADS. I must have got them from here but I don't see those sights listed in the calculator now. Did they change something? Are they the same as ADS now, or am I just missing something glaring?

Cheers.

Since there is an almost endless number of combinations of weapons and aims, I've simplified it so you enter the Additional Zoom value from your scope manually after selecting the correct weapon, see the game notes:

Ah OK. I did read that but I just didn't twig that reflex types are short "scopes" - I got it now, thanks.

@DPI Wizard there's still a couple of confusing things for me:

There's some weapons under (scope) that can be used ADS but aren't listed under ADS. Am I to assume that if I leave the sensitivity 2 value blank, then this is the ADS sens? It does seem to be, but I want to be sure, so I don't have to think.

Some weapons have fixed scopes, that aren't built in scopes (such as that on the guillotine) but cannot be removed - the Nekomata for example, comes with a fixed prospecta E305, which has a base magnification of 2.25. Do I put 2.25 in sensitivity 2, or do I leave it blank? I'm assuming it's under scope and not ADS (like the guillotione) because the scope as a range of 2.25-3.25, so i assume I put the 2.25 in sensitivity 2 but again, I want to be sure.

This game must have been a PITA to add - the work is appreciated.

Correct.

Also correct.

It really was, I think there might even be some Phantom Liberty weapons missing. The Additional Zoom sensitivity is also opposite of normal, meaning a higher sensitivity equals a higher 360 distance (i.e. slower).

Perfect. Thank you👍 I finally bought PL, which is why I'm playing it again, so if I spot any omissions, I'll let you know.
