Confused on converting the COD ADS sensitivity (MDV 0%) to Apex Legends

Featured Replies

So I found a thread about the older cods and figured that the old cods use mdv 0% to calculate the ads sensitivity. In the screenshot I've used cod bo1 to convert from and I've put my DPI, sensitivity and FOV in. And in the apex tab I've put also entered my DPI, sensitivity and FOV and selected the 1x scope option. But the ads sensitivity it's showing doesn't seem to be correct (it's quicker than my normal sensitivity) and I'm not sure how it works or how I'm supposed to convert it correctly. Altering my FOV in both the bo1 and apex tab changes the ADS sensitivity as well which I'm not sure why.

My normal apex sensitivity is 3/400dpi and fov is 1.55 (110) and I need the ADS sensitivity to work the same way as the old cods which is MDV 0%

Or does apex legends use MDV 0% anyway for it's ADS sens and would that mean I should just keep the ADS sens at 1.0?

different fov
use 0% mdv instead of 360 for hipfire or change your fov

I don't understand what you mean, the link says all the ads options are 1.0

Does Apex use the same method as cod which is 0% MDV? Would that mean I need to use 1.0?

Yes,but tracking speed will be different compared to cod

Correct, but it does so based on the configured FOV, so all scopes will scale according to FOV. BO (at least some of them) instead scales the scopes based on a fixed FOV, and will not change the scopes based on configured FOV.

So by this do you mean that no matter what your FOV is in BO1, the ADS FOV will always be the same (e.g 65 ADS FOV no matter whether your FOV is set to 70 or 100) whereas in Apex, the ADS FOV varies depending on what your FOV is set to?

So this means that if I wanted to match my ads sens from cod, I would have to use the exact same fov in Apex?

Also in COD 4, the ADS FOV changes when you raise your FOV, so if I use 100 FOV in cod 4, would it work the same way if I set my Apex FOV to 100 and converted my COD 4 sens?

Actually no, I was thinking about the Legacy option in new CoD games (which is locked to 65 4:3 FOV). BO2 does scale the scopes to your FOV setting.
