Call of Duty 2 sensitivity values are incorrect?

Featured Replies

I've played every cod from cod 4 to bo2 and my sensitivity converts perfectly in between those games (I use 3/400dpi in bo1/bo2/waw and the infinity ward games do it differently so I use mouse-sensitivity.com to convert it and it works perfectly).

When I convert my bo1 sens to cod 2 it's the same value (3) but when in game, the sens is too fast for whatever reason and doesn't match. Not sure why this is happening when I have mouse accel and smoothing off. Also it's not affected by fov so I know that isn't the issue.

In cod 2, when I go across my whole mousepad, my game will do an extra 90 or so degrees compared to every other cod with a matching sens.

Can anyone help? I'm not sure whether it's just a problem on my pc or the sens is actually wrong altogether.

FOV doesn't affect the sens in cod 2, so it would be 3 regardless of FOV

I forgot you're doing 360 distance here, but I launched the game now to test and in fact it is affected by FOV if your aspect ratio is 16:9 or above. So I assume you are running 16:9?

If you change to 4:3 you should get the expected distance with sensitivity 3.

I've updated the calculator now to account for this, so try to convert again :)
