Desktop to H1Z1 Conversion is 100% Wrong

Featured Replies

In H1Z1 when you hit esc to bring up the menu your mouse sensitivity reverts back to your desktop so when you swipe back and forth in game then open the menu and do it the ingame is way faster. Unless I did the conversion wrong there is no way the calculations are correct.

For me to get even remotely the same sensitivity it would have to be between 0.13 and 0.14 ingame. This is just off of feel. Not the 0.18 the calculator says. Obviously not as accurate as I would like but considering I would have to close the game and manually change the UserOptions each time I wanted to go further than two decimal places I'd rather get an answer here.

You are using a very weird resolution 1600x888, is that correct? Also make sure the FOV is what you have actually configured. Lastly, see how it feels in first person mode, 3rd person is quite difficult to compare.

If I use 0% my mouse doesn't move in game...

I think he means 0% Monitor Distance match in the calculator. Although 0 in-game should still move your mouse, albeit slowly.

That seems to have worked ALOT better. I dont know if it matters or not but H1Z1 - KOTK stopped showing up for me and now it only shows H1Z1 - Just Survive. I'm assuming both games are the same in terms of the calculator?

Just added KOTK as a separate game (reload if you don't see them both). They are identical in terms of sensitivity, but paths for the config file is different etc, so I separated them.
