    Does this game's First Person and Third Person mode have the same sens? Thanks! Errr I'll stick with 3rd Person FOV.

  • The range is updated now. The value is still a multiplier, with it being twice the actual vertical FOV.

The game has massively changed by adding a lot of different settings for sensitivity, please update when you can. Thank you!

The additional settings (flight and cursor) can't really be added due to how they work.

I remembered why and that totally makes sense, but FOV seems to have been put in a different config file at a different location.

Hi, can you tell me where to enter this:

"Disable smoothing by setting Mouse Smoothing - 0."

I can't find it in the game or in the config file. There was a line: “MouseSpringSmoothing”, but it was already set to 0. And there was a line: “Acceleration”, but it affects the mouse cursor.

Thank you in advance.

Oh, I'm sorry, that's not what I was thinking. I thought it would disable mouse acceleration.

Is there any way to disable acceleration? Just the overview, not the mouse cursor?

Or only if you disable it in the OS settings?

Forgotten what used to be.

The point is that if the mouse setting “Enhance pointer precision” is enabled in Windows, it affects the game as well. If you disable it, acceleration is disabled in the game.

But the problem occurs in another way. The calculator gave me a sensitivity of “6”, taking into account that it is less than ideal. But in the game itself it is too much. So I set it to “4”. And I got something that should be.

I went through the configuration file. I noticed a couple of interesting things.

First, the sensitivity setting line is repeated twice:

<Property name=“LookSensitivityMode1” value=“4” />

<Property name=“LookSensitivityMode2” value=“25” />

as well as sensitivity for flight and cursor (why this setting is needed at all).

Second, there is a line in the file:

<Property name=“Acceleration” value=“1.000000” />

сhanging it does not lead to anything. I tried to change the value to “0.000000” or add “-” (minus). Nothing changed. Even deleted it, but it comes back when the game starts (which is logical). Anyway, the question is why it is needed?

What this is all about - I do not know, but in case someone will notice something. I apologize for my English, I don't speak it, I hope for a translator.

@DPI Wizard

the calc for this doesn't appear to be correct, for my setup anyway.

  • windows 11 pointer speed: 4

  • enhanced precision: disabled

  • DPI: 1600

  • poling rate: 2000hz

calculator is suggesting 11, but i'm finding 5 is closer to what it should be

Have you disabled smoothing, and do you get the same result with 1000 Hz?

There's an incorrect parameter limit on this game's calculator. Ingame FoV ranges from 60 to 120, while the calculator only allows for an FoV of 60 to 100. The calculator's setting is half of the ingame setting but only ranges from 30 to 50.

Do you know how to change the exocraft 1st person sensitivity? 3rd person works fine but 1st person seems way slower than it does in the ship.
