January 23, 20224 yr Hi guys, why this give me different sensitivities? The fov is the same? https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=efcd51ec99d9710d243f015ac6132a4d https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=36fd165c58eb995e190737962a025813

The fov is the same? 4:3 Black Bars will calculate the sensitivity based on the whole monitor, including the black part. So for instance if you match MDH 100% using black bars you will match the movement to the edge of the monitor (i.e. beyond the image) as if the image filled the black bars. To put it another way, on a 16:9 monitor CSGO in 4:3 with black bars will be identical to CSGO in 16:9. Join the community on Discord!
January 23, 20224 yr Author so there is no reason to calculate with blackbars cause the sensitivity is the same from 4:3 to 16:9 was just wondering why it gives different results.

For instance if the game has a resolution based horizontal FOV and you use MDH 100% you will get a difference. Join the community on Discord!
January 23, 20224 yr Author but for cs 1.6 to csgo its right that the sens is the same? Or i have to account in the fov change?

In your examples you also convert between different monitor sizes, so converting from a 4:3 22" will be different than a 16:9 22". Join the community on Discord!
