I mean I trust the calculator as I made the switch from 100 FOV to 120 FOV on CoD a while a go. But I've always wondered why do I need to increase my ADS sens but not my hipfire when increasing my FOV on CoD? Just curious, thanks!

The default setup of the calculator uses 360 distance for hipfire matching, so if the hipfire 360 distance is not affected by FOV change it will stay the same.

What about for ADS though? I'm just curious as to why when going from 100 FOV to 120 FOV I also increase my ADS sens by .25, is it to do with the view distance being increased or something?

It depends on your setup, but by changing FOV you also change the source FOV for the ADS calculation unless you use Legacy mode. So for the ADS to stay the same you need to change the sensitivity.

Okay thanks for clearing it up, it's weird because when going from 100 to 120 the ADS 360 distance is the same or about from testing but it feels so much slower on 120
