Questions about MDV cs 1.6

Featured Replies

Hey!

I use to play counter strike 1.6 with these settings 15 years ago:

2.6 sens

0.9 zoom sensitivity (awp)

resolution: 1024 x 768

17 inch CTR monitor...

I play on a 27 1440p monitor today.

I have read a lot on the forum and from my understanding 1 zoom sens = MDV 133 What would 0.9 be for MDV?
Should I include the screen size in the calc or not? I've read that screen size doesn't matter so this confuse me.

Im currently trying to convert cs 1.6 to The cycle frontier

You have done it correctly in the screenshot, MDV 133.3333% with scale 90%.

If you enter the same monitor size (like you have with 27 in the screenshot), the size will be ignored in the conversion. I think most people prefer it this way, but some do want to convert between sizes.

So if you enter 17 for CS 1.6 and 27 for the other game and use a conversion method other than 360 distance for hipfire, there will be a conversion based on monitor size.
