Converting 16:9 to 21:9 resolution for my mouse settings

Featured Replies

Hey I just purchased a  34 inch ultrawide monitor, I'm trying to convert my settings over. My old monitor was a 1920x1080 23.5 144 hz and my new monitor is a 3440X1440 21:9 160hz:

Question: Did I input the correct logic for the conversion?

Ideally I want to know what my new fov would be + mouse settings

Thanks in advance :)

you can try to ask Drimzi. He knows about this stuff

Ah i found a post by him, this are the steps:

(360 arctan(32/23.5 * tan((103 * pi/180)/2)))/pi=119.42

https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=4ade2a59f8cd638e3ef42de776e1e3c3

So if you would change your FoV in Overwatch 2 to 119.42 on the new monitor everything is the same. But as i know you cant change the fov.

So you have to lower your sensitivity by this factor : 23.5/32 = 0.734375

13*0.734375=~9.55 <--- this is the new sensitivity on your new monitor
