October 27, 20223 yr Hello, As I was starting my KovaaKs routine, I had noticed that using a 4:3 aspect ratio, the vertical sensitivity was much slower. I had the idea of changing the Y axis to 133% of my horizontal, and felt a much more natural sensitivity especially in 4:3. Is there any written or recorded information on what I had done? And would scaling my horizontal sens to 178% in 16:9 games do the same thing? Thanks in advance!
October 29, 20223 yr Wizard Do you mean 4:3 stretched to 16:9? If so the vertical sensitivity actually stays the same, but the horizontal will feel faster. Join the community on Discord!
October 29, 20223 yr Author More important to Rainbow Six Siege, but when the aspect ratio is set to 4:3, horizontal feels faster, and vertical feels slower as a result. I was curious about the potential of multiplying the vertical sensitivity to match aspect ratio, such as scaling the horizontal sensitivity to 133% on 4:3. When I use it in game, it makes the game feel more natural at 4:3, and I feel that I can aim for where the pixel is, especially on diagonal targets. I'm not sure if there is any topic related to this and I was wondering if you would have an insight on this.
October 30, 20223 yr Wizard Solution If you want to keep the horizontal pixel ratio the same, you can calculate it like this: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=206ff4da8ff6c5dd0658083c2b5c0554 For games with a regular sensitivity scaling like CSGO it's just to set it to 75% of the original value.
