Close beta dropped this week and it feels a little different compared to the alpha, might have changed things idk

the pistol from the splinter cell ult feels way off for example

I'm still waiting for the game to be activated, not sure what's taking so long. Will check as soon as I have access!

I have several invite keys left if you would like one for access, gave someone else one and it got them in instantly while they were waiting for their twitch drop activation to process

Hipfire and ADS is the same as before, but all the scopes are different. They are all updated now!

@DPI Wizard why is your calculator so mush of if im in the scope/ads ???
and why tha hell i need for iron sight "premium" ?

All aims (ADS/Scope), as well as all conversion methods other than 360 distance require a premium subscription. Subscriptions are what's keeping the site alive, and how we're able to analyze, maintain and add games and aims literally all day and night.

and why is the aim on ads so weird in xdefiant ? i cant figure it our is that because monitor coefficient is missing ? i dont get it its rly frustating play xdefiant if the aim is alwys so garbo

It scales in a very non-typical way indeed. And ADS and scopes does not scale in the same manner.

I had my trouble with it, but i found the cause.
 

If you change the FoV (also other resolutions or aspect ratios) every low Zoom ADS changes back to 16:9 if the setting "ADS Field of View" is at indipendent. Which is almost needed if you want to aim with pistol scopes, they are so far away otherwise. The thing is your DPI is screen (pixel) related, which means with the FoV reduced your sense is now much higher, while aiming. Higher sens plus also a different visible picture size, screw me completly.
I never had that with an other game.
As aiming with pistols sucks i am now trying to get around it with calculating/testing by reducing the Low Zoom multiplier.

I think you can use decimals in the config file
C:\Users\Administrator\Documents\My Games\XDefiant\bc_general_settings_xy

Maybe also decimals for the FOV.

Can you really? I've tried to in both this and last beta, and the config always resets itself to 30 if you add any decimals.

with past ubisoft title you were able to set it to write protect worth a try imo

Yeah, it reset immediately to 30 in the file on game launch, setting it to read-only doesn't work either as the game still resets to 30.

Oh, disappointing

Best we can do is let Mark Rubin (one of the main XDefiant devs) know through Twitter I guess, he seems to be extremely active there. 

Hipfire is updated for the new test. Note that scopes seems somewhat bugged at the moment, as ADS, 3x and 4x are all the same.

Let's just hope for the best.... The lack of decimal places was really annoying, also the viewmodel fov of most weapons was really in your face. 

Only 2 options for optic sensitivities, how are these people still developing games 🤦‍♂️
