4.12 here is the most closed value to my requirement 220deg for Logitech GPW on this specific  Logi mousepad, determined and tested manually by my self, my body.
I can not figure out what make the value of converter gives me higher sensitivity actual, in game, to avoid any mistakes I even write 450 DPI only into my mouse and turned of Logi Ghub.

My initial thought is that the DPI is actually 550, not 450. That would align with your findings.

I tested right after close other games and this Delta, sometimes even open 2 games at same time to test, only Delta slower when others are normal and same mouse DPI, I delete all other DPI in my mouse only keep 450DPI only. I open one other game, test, and open Delta, test in Delta, and open others again to compare... no chance or possibility for DPI only raise to 550 when running Delta I think?

Hi everyone, the open beta has been released on Steam. Does anyone know if there have been any changes to the mouse sens since the previous tests?

Hi @DPI Wizard,

I used these, but the aims feels off/slower than BF 2042 (and compared to the pre alpha build?). What's wrong? I use ADS FOV ON, but NO USA (in Delta Force you can't disable it, just change the value, default 1.33, so what's the equivalent to OFF in this game)?

Aiming feels very wonky, like there's some sort of smoothing or acceleration enabled.

There are people recommending adding these lines to the "Input.ini" file (you can find this file in Steam\steamapps\common\Delta Force\Game\DeltaForce\Saved\Config\WindowsClient)

[/Script/Engine.InputSettings]

Quote

RawMouseInputEnabled=Enabled
bEnableMouseSmoothing=False
bViewAccelerationEnabled=False

But honestly I don't feel a difference after adding those lines, at all.

EDIT: another problem with this game is that it resets Nvidia's driver level Vertical Sync setting each time you launch the game. For example I want Vertical Sync (in the Nvidia app/control panel) to be forced ON, but it will change to "Use the 3D application setting" which is the default option.

There is no equivalent to USA Off, the scaling is all over the place. Are you using USA Off with all values set to 100?

I think. Should I set the USA setting to 1.00 or 0 or something else?

USA with 1 or 0 is much more consistent, but it's quite different from USA off.

What can I change  to get as close as I can to the BF 2042 settings?

The issue with USA Off is that it's based on the default FOV of 55 and ADS FOV Off. So what you can do is change your source to match this.

For BF2042 itself it would look like this (ADS FOV on still makes the low power scopes different though).

And for Delta Force it would be like this.

Hi All,

Apologies but I'm trying to understand the Coefficiency affecting the hip-fire. I always play at 0 MDC but when I apply 0 here, it throws my hip fire sens. For example in Warzone I have 4 sens with 0 MDC at 800DPI. To achieve the same CM per 360 in Delta Force, I have to keep the default value of 1.33. Why is that?

Thank you

Hi,

I'm pretty sure something is off with the fov conversion for this game. It was correct for the alpha, but since the beta released it seems that it converts the fov higher than it should. The mouse still feels right, but I have a lower cm/360 and the fov seems higher than the 74 vertical I asked for. It says 74 vertical is 106 ingame setting, but I'm not sure this is correct anymore. 90 fov set ingame feels a lot closer to 74 vertical fov. It's almost like the alpha had 16:9 fov setting, but the beta is 4:3. Maybe I'm tripping and its all in my head, but curious if anyone else has found this.

I just measured it now to be sure, and it is definitely a 16:9 FOV. Remember that the hipfire sensitivity is affected by the Monitor Distance Coefficient, so make sure these settings are the same in the calculator and in-game.

Yo, just popping by to add my experience - I was having a lot of problems getting my sensitivity to feel right, until I made a thread about it and found out I had not been putting in the FOV right and also I wasn't using the coefficient right either.

The problem I had was, I wasn't converting my Planetside 2 FOV over to Delta Force(I didn't think it mattered) and I also was just screwing with the FOV up and down.

It definitely converts it 1:1 though if you make sure you put the FOV value for the original game being converted from, and also make sure you always put the resulting FOV/FOV you want in the calculator for Delta Force.

Since I started doing that and making damn sure I always do it - I've had a great time https://streamable.com/szrrsd https://streamable.com/j0vttp https://streamable.com/w3oe2p

Hi

I don't understand this setting in the calculator for Delta Force. Changing it impacts the sensitivity on higher zoom scopes.

I have nearly 300 hours in the game now (Operations) but I still don't feel like my aim is as consistant or sharp as in COD/Warzone, especially when sniping on the 3/7 Variable or 3.5x optics. The game settings all match the notes exactly, and MDC is 0, same FOV.
