Yo chef, Ads sens feels absolutely horrible in this new CoD at times even tho its like mw3 but they really tweaked some values of them.

Ive seen in forums it might be even attached to fps so at points transitioning to ads aim get really slow and throws you everytime.
Also ads on my end i feel from rifle to smg is different using 1.3 multiplier saved me for the ride.

For having it like it was legacy 1.00 on mw3 is it actually the same?

thx

On my previous comment i ment like, in general fps seem to affect the way the game shows proper input and feels really janky at times.
So for ads values its relatevely the same?

would not be surprised if its bugged because I dont see why they would change the sens after being the same for 5 games but the ads sens is definitely not right atm, Its way too fast in my case. I even went back to mw3 to compare it side by side and I can confirm its not the same even though I have all the settings the same.

Can you maybe explain more on how to handle the inner and outer FOV on when to choose which sens? I don't know exactly what you mean with inner and outer FOV in the context of this game. Thanks in advance 😊

From my personal experience, if the diameter of the scope is larger (larger internal area), the more I tend to use the internal FOV to calculate sensitivity. Using a sensitivity between internal and external FOV is acceptable. It would be nice to have an algorithm to find the "average" FOV. Overall I don't like this game design.

@DPI Wizard how did you manage to find the inner fov i would love to do this for mw 2019 but dont want to bother you going trough all the scopes in the game could you point me in the right direction so i can find the fov on my own?

i tried https://www.desmos.com/calculator/3e9hs7usyr but i cant seem to get consistent results

You can't use that tool unfortunately, you have to count pixels, and based on a comparison with pixels from a known FOV from the exact same location and object, calculate the actual FOV of the inner part. There's a also issue with lens effects, as you can see in the example picture there's quite significant warping of the inner part, so that has to be taken into account as well.

I can’t find the BO7 config files with the mouse settings. I tried reinstalling the game, deleting the files, and I have cloud save disabled, and I still can’t find them. I also tried looking for the sensitivity settings in the files I do have, but none of them have it.

Screenshot of my files inside %LOCALAPPDATA%\Activision\Call of Duty\players\[USER ID] (yes, I changed the user ID folder to the only one I have, and added my user...) and %LOCALAPPDATA%\Activision\Call of Duty\players

What launcher are you using? And if you change just the sensitivity in-game and exit, does any of the files update their last modified date?

I’m on Steam and I finally managed to get the config file (g.cod25.1.0.l.txt0) to show my sensitivity. I’m not sure what exactly fixed it. I reinstalled the game, deleted the Activision folder, reset the in-game settings, toggled the clouded settings on and off several times, changed all the sensitivity options in the game… I had previously searched for "Mouse" "MouseHorizontalSensibility" "Sensitivity" and "ADSLowZoomSensitivity" in all my files, but the options never appeared.🤷‍♂️ Thanks for the help 😁

I heard the rumor, that the raw mouse input setting in the config file is reverted. True=false and false=true. Can someone confirm? I tried it and I honestly could not feel a difference.
