This does not work, for the config file value it's 10x. Do note that all vehicle aims (be it driver or turret etc) have a significant amount of negative acceleration, so measuring the sensitivity accurately is a bit difficult.
It is a different value, but I am not done with analyzing everything yet.
74 in BF4 showing as 120 horizontal has to be for ultrawide resolution, can you show me?

No, nothing has been updated. You have probably changed some settings like FOV or something?

This might be a bug, but you have to set Uniform Aiming to "off" to show the individual zoom sensitivities, then you can set them and switch back to "on" and they will take effect. In your case though, you can just set the "Infantry Zoom Aim Sensitivity" to 67.1 instead (you can manually do this in the multiplier 1 field in the calculator as well), and it will have the same effect as setting them all to the same value.

Perfect. Thank you👍 I finally bought PL, which is why I'm playing it again, so if I spot any omissions, I'll let you know.

    Correct.
    Also correct.
It really was, I think there might even be some Phantom Liberty weapons missing. The Additional Zoom sensitivity is also opposite of normal, meaning a higher sensitivity equals a higher 360 distance (i.e. slower).

Since there is an almost endless number of combinations of weapons and aims, I've simplified it so you enter the Additional Zoom value from your scope manually after selecting the correct weapon, see the game notes:

Works like a charm, I've added it now.

The config file has a slightly better range (0.0001-0.0004 is not possible to match in-game), but the accuracy is the same within the range of the in-game values yes.

I know its been years and now coming back to this game I realized you can use the Prey Interface Customizer mod to adjust sprint/zoom sensitivity.

As far as I know these lines are not in use.

You have to select the in-game location to see the info regarding in-game settings. When config file is selected, it will always refer to the config file setting if they are available.

The FOV slider is not new, it is already in the calculator
The config file settings will reset only if you enter the options menu, as long as you don't do that they will remain with all the correct decimals in the config file. I've added this info to the game now.

Good to know! Be aware that in most games the focus is on how low the sensitivity can go, and not how high (as you want it). So if you find another game where you can't go high enough just let me know. If the sensitivity is in-game is usually limited by the interface though, but if it's in a config file or registry it might go higher than the current max in the calculator.

Yeah, this game has a very narrow sensitivity range, and the minimum is not especially low.

You can't set the sensitivity to 4.07 in-game, so the calculation is basing the ADS sensitivity on a sensitivity of 4. If you switch to Advanced mode you will see that the 360 distances are as close as they can be within the confines of the amount of decimal places available. Also note that the ADS sensitivity in this game scales logarithmically. Here's a direct conversion between the two hipfire sensitivities: https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=3e4c3ddbdfd0837ece7d3f1f0a19ce74

    0 is correct.
Setting the zoom sensitivities to 1 is correct if the hipfire FOV is the same for Apex and BFV (in this example). If the hipfire FOV is different, the zoom sensitivities will adjust for this, so scopes with the same FOV have the exact same sensitivity between the games.
The result will be the same for each scope you configure, so technically there's no difference. But it's a lot easier to just set the coefficient to 0 and zoomsensitivityall to 0.888877. This way you can leave all the scopes at 1.

sc0zz reacted to DPI Wizard in Monitor Distance - Dynamic is now live!
A new conversion method suggested by @TheNoobPolice is now integrated.
    See the original post here.
What this method does is to scale the monitor distance based on a limit (i.e. max monitor distance troughout the scaling) and a power factor.
Power factor 0 means that the scaling is equal to the limit, and the higher the power factor, the more the scale moves towards 0% scaling. Sensible power factors are between 10% and 300%.
This method is ideal for those who find 0% to be too slow for more powerful scopes, but fine for ADS.
You can play around with this graph to visualize the scaling: https://www.desmos.com/calculator/yfn7lpyfbf

These zoom levels are true optical zooms btw, so equivalent to BF1 etc. But they are based on a FOV of 103 regardless of your configured FOV.
The game seems fun, I think I have to try it a bit more than just rushing through until I get a scoped weapon
