(Premier) Release is tomorrow - Anyone been able to gather any more information on Third Person Sens, Flying Sens, etc for the full release?

Looking to get everything together in one fell swoop.

I'm having some weird issues with Anthem.

It seems to have some hard-coded mouse acceleration. I set up a macro in Rainbow Six Siege to move the mouse the same distance and no matter what I set in Anthem (1% or otherwise), it'll move to a different spot every time; even if I set my DPI/sens to be crazy low.

Also, the config settings don't stick even on read only. Even if the info I'm putting in is right (see attached), it just seems to set to 100% in-game no matter what's set; and when I try to set it to 1% manually (with the multiplier set), it blows out the settings I had saved (and on read only).

Basically it's is unplayable for me till these issues can be figured out.

Maybe I'm missing something?

I'm assuming this is in the javelin? Sensitivity is pretty much broken when you're in them, seems like a lot of controller-like properties were applied to the mouse sensitivity there.

The calculations are for 1st person which are very good, although probably not as useful...

Most of the game you're in a Javelin though??? I'm an esports player and swapping sensitivities is detrimental to my performance.

I suppose what you're saying is we gotta wait on Bioware to hit us with an update, correct?

Oh also, any update on the mouse settings being reset after you go into them? Config is just broken when you start up with even the right info

Exactly, where it really counts they messed up.

This is very useful, as it can confirm or challenge the calculated sensitivity in a non biased way! Here it's spot on, as the javelin is terrible...

1st person sensitivity seems to have changed with GstInput.MouseSensitivity 40, seems to be about 25% faster. Negative acceleration on fast swipes seems be better but javelin sensitivity is still broken.

Also changing GstInput.MouseSensitivity to 1 no longer changes sensitivity by a factor of 40 but something else (if it changes it at all)

Thanks, based on the formula I think I know what's changed (it had a weird modifier on the beta) but I'll do some checks and update!

Can anyone try and confirm whether

"GstInput.MouseRawInput 1"

Does anything for them? It seems to have done something, but gave my game a buncha stuttering and input lag.

Along those same lines, Flight and Swim precision and response seem to add acceleration to those as well - be sure to disable them.

See attached.

It appears as though it has made my game have raw input as the line would suggest. I don't have any noticeable input lag, and no stuttering that I can see as well. All of my flicks seem to go to the correct point, whether they're fast or not and tracking seems smooth.

As a temporary fix use the config setting of the calculator with a mouse sensitivity of 40 instead of 1 and then multiply the value by 0.82 before you put it into your config.

Use the value for Aiming and zoom, imo also flight and swimming, then adjust zoom/flight/swimming from there as preference.

They made the cm/360 between first person and javelin a lot closer (though again jav is still broken)

This algorithm doesn't work for my sensitivity. I got 0.8186675, am I doing something wrong here? See attached

Added Javelin aim and zoom!

Still huge issues with acceleration and packet loss, but I've got the base sensitivity pretty much spot on.

Please report back how the calculations feel (including your sensitivity and DPI) as it might need adjustments because of the acceleration.

Hi @DPI Wizard,

Can you help me please ? Perhaps I miss some information, but when i use this config Anthem.jpg.e79750fdb44481d5565cb3e75042f6b4.jpg

My sensitivity is very fast, 1cm with mouse = 360°. I'm doing something wrong ?

You have GstInput.MouseSensitivity set to 1 in that calculation. The default value is 40, make sure you either have it set to 1 in the config file, or change it to 40 in the calculator if your config file says 40 :)

oh thank you i saw , we need to have GstInput.MouseSensitivity  set to 1 . It was a solution for mouse acceleration.  I set it to 1 in calculator for that. i remove it thank you.

It was a fix on the beta, but that was only for 1st person. In the release version 1st person doesn't have acceleration anymore.

I need some help.  I tried to convert my BFV settings to Anthem.

The problem that I can't solve right now is that the converter offers me settings which cause a different 360°  distance for Anthem compared to BFV.

Can someone explain to me what I'm doing wrong?

Thank you 👍
