fortunate reee 222 Posted March 10, 2019 (edited) is there a way to have 1;1 ads hipfire without the fov scale change ///// i believe that i found a workaround modifying the scale value Edited March 10, 2019 by Zan.shin Link to comment
solidOz 0 Posted March 10, 2019 (edited) I get several different numbers when it comes to having 1:1 with the ADS. 1.3, 1.5, 1.4, 0.9xxx, 1.xxxxx I have no idea, it is super frustrating. Maybe someone can help out with the earlier post of mine. Edited March 10, 2019 by solidOz Link to comment
bencrabara 0 Posted March 11, 2019 1.0 for monitor distance match at 0%. 1.245 for 1:1 360/cm match for 1x scope/pistols/smgs/shottys 1.39 for 1:1 360/cm match with lr/sniper/assault rifle ads without a scope. Pick your poison. I just went with 1.245 since I use 1x scope the most anyways. I would have loved it though if we can set for each magnification so that I can mm 0% all other scopes aside the 1x. Are you using the default FOV of 90? Also, even the 1x zooms in a little. Setting it to to the same 360/cm, isn't this making it faster where you don't use the same muscle memory? Link to comment
Tehstool 0 Posted March 13, 2019 Is there any reason why the titanfall 2 ADS sens is different than apex? Link to comment
Stamparts 0 Posted March 14, 2019 So after I set the .cfg file for the fov settings, do I need to set the fov in-game as well? Link to comment
disties 0 Posted March 14, 2019 Hello, I looking to convert my ADS sens from Apex to Fortnite Targeting sens (So, the X1 Scope from Apex to Targeting Fortnite sens) but I have differents results and I need ur help... Here is my settings : Apex Legends (Config File) FoV : 1.4675 = 102.7 (but that show 104 ingame) Sensitivity : Hipfire : 3 - ADS : 0.8 Fortnite Hipfire Sensitivity (Config File) : 0.029703 Apex Legends X1 Scope (88.05 FoV) to Fortnite "All" : TargetingSlow : 0.9999879 Apex X1 Scope (88.05 FoV) to Fortnite "Targeting" : TargetingSlow : 0.4024460 Kovaak (X1 Scope from Apex Legends converted in Kovaak with 88.05 FoV) to Fortnite "Targeting" : TargetingSlow : 0.4024460 I don't trust that "0.4024460" is my 0.8 ADS from Apex Legends because it feel very slow in Fortnite, to you wich is the good one ? chomonchoo 0 Posted March 14, 2019 (edited) Hello, little question: i want to convert my csgo sensitivity to apex. I play Counterstrike in: 1920:1080 16:9 but i need to play apex in: 1600x900 16:9 (because more fps) does this affect something for me in case of mouse sensitivity(muscle memorie)? or can i just copy the csgo sensitivity since i set my FOV's equal. Edit: just found the option in the calculator. sorry Edited March 15, 2019 by chomonchoo Link to comment
Stamparts 0 Posted March 15, 2019 @DPI WizardAfter I set cl_fovscale in the cfg file, do I still need to adjust the fov in-game? b/c it's still at 90- in-game... Link to comment

No, the in-game value is off by up to 2 degrees +/- (at least). If it's vastly off somethings probably wrong somewhere, but the cl_fovscale value is the FOV that is actually applied to the game. The sens there is the same, exact same turn-rate and exact same actual FOV. Can't easily tell how you arrived at that without you also showing what inputs you entered. Link to comment
Badmon 2 Posted March 16, 2019 sorry I don't know whether this is bs or not but I feel like FOV: 90 isn't actually vfov:73.74 hfov:106.26 but more like vfov: 58.72 hfov: 90 especially as fov 90 in csgo seems so much more zoomed out than fov 90 on apex. Could all be in my brain though Link to comment

Could all be in my brain though It's just your brain The graphic style and gameplay of different games can greatly impact how the FOV is perceived, so while it is the same as CSGO at 90 you might prefer a wider FOV for Apex. philheath 17 Posted March 17, 2019 the sensitivity doesnt feel right, because when you strafe side to side and shoot it makes the ads so much faster Link to comment

Doesn't show what method you are using to convert for the aims, and only shows the resulting hipfire FOVs. Without checking, probably the scopes have different FOVs and Titanfall 2 may use a different Monitor distance percentage by default for some of the zooms/scopes than Apex does, as the "ALL" option only likely calculates the ADS zoom for the Assault Rifle or lowest zoom weapon. When a target game uses a different default monitor percentage for it's ADS calculations to the Source game (pun intended), but only gives you one ADS slider, you will always have some discrepancy betweeen different zoom scopes when matching EDIT: No, I think I figured it out - it's cause Apex uses an ADS multiplier based off hipfire sens, but Titanfall 2 uses a seperate ADS setting which isn't linked to your hipfire setting. So as FOV decreases the required setting also decreases when matching to any monitor distance percentage, but you can still only set it up for one of the zooms sadly. hohn 0 Posted March 20, 2019 After the new patch, has any of the sniper scoped sensitivity configurations changed? I'm currently ignoring sniper scopes (1.0 sensitivity modifier), in case everything is changed over and over. Link to comment
Tehstool 0 Posted March 21, 2019 Does anyone know how bloodhound's ult affects the fov? Link to comment

It's unlikely to change considering the current scaling are consistent with MDH 0% and the scope's FOV scaling makes mathematical sense. Link to comment
philheath 17 Posted March 21, 2019 if i were to copy bf5 sensitivity. do i change all the top horizontal monitor distance values to 75%? Link to comment
