Hey guys i'm having trouble transferring my Fortnite targeting to Apex Legends ADS. My targeting for Fortnite is .700 but it asks for sensitivity 1 in the Apex Legends ADS thing. What do I put there?

Your hipfire sensitivity.

it says its not affected by fov but if i try to change it to 110 (from 90)  the sensitivity changes. is it okay?

That means the game itself doesn't scale the pitch/yaw according to the user's fov. Your cm/360 will not change if you change the fov.

The calculator on the other hand will output a new result for a different fov when using an fov scaling method (everything except 360 distance).

Is it my fortnite hipfire or my apex legends hip fire. and either one I choose it says its to low and gives me a really high sensitivity for apex legends ADS.

If I want my ads to match as close as possible to bf4 ads with uniform soldier aim turned on, should I just set the scalier to 1.33 like bf has it set?

Edit: I went and read some more around the forums and realized this was not the smartest thing I have ever thought would work right. I think I may have it figured out for this game though, and I no longer use 360 distance but now use horizontal monitor distance.

I personally use view speed for scopes. But for the precise matches - 1.33 is 75% match (CS, BF). 0% is COD, OW, etc. It depends on what you are used to really. The video covers it pretty well.

Edit, I thought bf was 0% for some reason, it's 75%, so 1.33 is correct for 1:1

Hey guys, just find out in the apex config file, there are more than one slide converting ADS. The following I believe is also working for some scopes:

mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar_0 "1.15"
mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar_1 "1.0"
mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar_2 "1.0"
mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar_3 "1.0"
mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar_4 "1.0"
mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar_5 "1.0"

Due to inefficient knowledge to test it, I wanna ask all the people that can test it to have a look at it so that our aiming, without using 0% monitor distance, can be also good.  I personally prefer 100% monitor distance. How can I adjust the sens so that the whole sens is parallel to 100% MM?

Config file is added, which supports at least 6 decimals.

Also updated with holo, 6x and 10x.

It is a bit inaccurate, which is why scope calculations will be off by a few counts.

Hey @DPI Wizard I'm assuming ADS = iron sights (no scope equipped) and holo = 1x RDS/holo/any 1x?

I haven't found any of them other than 0 to have any effect unfortunately.

Correct AFAIK, but I haven't tested all ADS and all 1x yet.

Correct. The in-game slider is very inaccurate any way, even if you enter the number manually.

So is 87 FOV in game roughly the same as Overwatch at 103 FOV?  Or did I mess something up?   If I want it exact, what do I edit in the config file?  The only item I found was cl_fovScale "1.23375"   Thanks!

I thought the FOV on Apex was 4:3 based? Wouldn't that mean you should still set your FOV to 90 if you want 106.26 horizontal?

The scalar is not the same as USA, it's the same as Soldier Zoom Aim Sensitivity. Apex is locked to the equivalent of USA 0%.

BFV use vdeg, so 90 in BFV = 121.28 hdeg, which equals 106.26 4:3 based, all assuming the monitor is 16:9 though.

Ahhh, I got confused because in BFV you can see both vertical and horizontal. 🙄

It's very confusing, you configure 90 and is tells you 106 horizontal, but that is 4:3 FOV.

Thank you for the response, so since the scalar is not the same as USA I will never be able to get it exact since they don't currently allow per optic adjustments correct? What is the easiest way to get pretty close just put in 1.33 for the scalar and call it a day or should I calculate say the rds in bf4 and then the holo in apex and use the scalar provided by the calculator which is around 1.10?

I have been a member here a long time, but don't post much. Just used the calculator and never looked into it much. This place is awesome and the more I read the more I learn. Thank you for the help.
