So, I'm a bit confused. Does the Apex 1.0 zoom sensitivity = 0% monitor-distance?

Yes, so if 0% monitor distance is your preference all aims will be good at 1.0. If your preference is something else you need to calculate for a specific aim, and all other aims will just have to follow.

In %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\profile\profile.cfg set cl_fovScale to 1.240857

Hey guys. I am just new to all this and would like some clarification.

In R6S I use

7/7/50 (H/V/ADS)

FOD 90

800 DPI 1920x1080 (16:9).
How do I translate this to Apex?

Because depending what I choose in aim the output is different. How do I get as close as possible to it settings wise?
And why is Apex automatically HDeg 4:3, what does this mean? Does it mean that I need to change resolution in Apex to 4:3?

Best regards,
Essh

It means that the actual FOV number you see in Apex is "assuming" you have a 4:3 resolution. So if you set it to say 90, it will be 90 for 4:3, but for 16:9 it will be 106.26 because it adds on the extra width.

As for converting from R6, it depends on your aiming preference for R6. ADS and ACOG scales differently (meaning you can't match them in a sensible way), so which one do you prefer if you have to choose one?

That means the game itself doesn't scale the pitch/yaw according to the user's fov. Your cm/360 will not change if you change the fov.

The calculator on the other hand will output a new result for a different fov when using an fov scaling method (everything except 360 distance).

Yeah but can someone actually calculate it for me?

Thanks. I guess I would like ADS. What aiming do I pick in the calculate for R6 and for Apex?

First convert hipfire to hipfire between the games, and set the Apex FOV to 106.26, this should give you 1.823048 like this (DPI etc here are just examples):

Then use the calculated value and directly convert R6 ADS to Apex ADS:

Thanks alot. Is this the general path for other games? Great.

I am still confused about one thing. Since in the apex part it says 106.26 FOV, do I leave my FOV at 90 in Apex or should that also be changed in game?

For your settings this would be the general approach because your sensitivity (7/7/50) doesn't really match any conversion method. So you have to do hipfire and ADS individually. If it did match a method you could use the "All" option for the games instead.

You should change the Apex FOV to 106.26 to match the 90 you have in R6 (they use different FOV Types), which will make the sensitivity more consistent. The in-game FOV setting in Apex is quite inaccurate, so if you want it dead on set cl_fovScale to 1.518 in %USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\profile\profile.cfg.

Hello just wondering if someone could help me out. I want my Siege sens to Apex Legends. I use hipfire in Siege as 72 for horizontal and vertical and my mouse multiplier is 0.002222 and my irons/1x is 100 and xfactoraiming is 0.016667. My dpi is 400. By any chance can someone help me find my sens. I know my hipfire is 2.08 but not sure if my ads should be 1.33 or 1.52 in game for Apex.

Thank You :)

ADS and scopes feel terribly off.

I use 11% ingame and USA On (133%) in BFV. Hipfire sense calc for Apex seems fine at 2.24, but the ADS mouse sens comes out at 1.0 and this seems terribly fast compared to BFV. Going from BFV to Apex hipfire and then switching to ADS/Holo etc and using the original hipfre value of 2.24 just keeps returning an ADS sense of 1.00.

Is this correct?

Sorry, but can you explain why 1.240857? Assuming the scale is a multiple of 70, and Overwatch's Hdeg Res is 103, shouldn't the multiple be more like 1.2376?

Could you give me the fovscale for 100 fov? [In game I set to 84] and its giving me 1.1925 in the profile.cfg not sure if that's accurate. Thanks!

Im still confused about fov and ads sensitivity+monitor distance

So if I really want 90FOV just like in call of duty or bfv at 73.74

I have to set my Apex fov to73.74 which the slider is in accurate

So how many fov I should set in config file? (90÷70 right?)

And I used monitor distance at 75% so I should set ads multiplier in APEX at 1.33 right?(USA 1.33 inBFV and relative aim at 1.33 in COD)

So my Apex FOV scale is set to 1.23375 in my config after changing the FOV slider to 87 in-game doesn't that mean that the 1.240857  in order to match FOV to Overwatch is higher than what it should be?

I'm having problems with converting my sensivity from Fortnite to Apex. My Fortnite hipfire sensivity is 0.5, DPI is 800. Whenever i try to convert that, it says "Calculated sensitivity too high for Hipfire: 50.500000 (max is 20)". I tried converting hipfire to hipfire, but still the same message. Thanks in advance!

How do I use the fov scale to match a 16:9 103 horizontal fov? What value does it scale from?

It scales from 70 horizontal 4:3 based FOV.

Set the Location in Fortnite to In-game.
