It appears that update 1.4 has broken config sensitivity.

Absolutely GOATed Admin. Responds faster than than an ambulance.

Also if anybody else still has a problem with it working:

Find same file "player_variables.scr" but in the "data0.pak" file instead and copy and replace the contents of that file into the "data3.pak" version of "player_variables.scr".

Then the converted sensitivity works as it should.

This worked for me. But it might be fixed all together.

Can you incorporate the FOV settings into the calculator when using "config" as the "Location".

From what i remember the config uses the "extragamefov" with values between 20-40 opposed to the actual vertical FOV i think.

Do know whether that is adding vertical FOV to the games max? (ie. extragamefov of 20, is that the ingame max 77 + 20 = 97?)

Are you thinking about the FOVCorrection parameter in the config file? It doesn't seem to do anything when I test it.

In the "video.scr" under "C:\Users\<name>\Documents\dying light the beast\out\settings" there is a "ExtraGameFov" parameter. I currently have this set to "26" in the config and when i go in game, the ingame Field of view is showing 83.

I believe this is similar to how DL2 was as well.

Can you incorporate this into the calculator somehow like for DL2.

Support for this is added now.

@DPI Wizard I found a fix for this game! If you edit the player script in the game's data0.pak file manually, you can change the sensitivity directly without the mod. The mod was just changing this value by overwriting it. You can also change the FoV to any number and/or remove the FoV reduction in safe zones in this same file. The path is data0.pak/scripts/player/player_variables.scr and you can use 7-Zip (or any other archive tool) to open and edit the .pak file. There's plenty of other easily tweakable goodies in the .pak files so it might be worth rummaging through them to find other misc. QoL options and fixes.

Hello,

just a FYI - maybe limited to me, not sure.

I used the https://www.nexusmods.com/dyinglightthebeast/mods/66?tab=description mod with the data3.pak to change the sensitivity and it broke my game (constant death loop upon loading game).

Removing the data3.pak stopped the deathloop bug.

Instead, i made changes (for sensitivity) in my own "data0.pak" file that was already there ("Dying Light The Beast\ph_ft\source"), which seems to work just fine. Not sure if this data3.pak mod is necessary.

Once again ,just a FYI - might be a me problem - but in case others have a deathloop bug using the mod.
