Killing Floor 3

The sensitivity slider is not accurate, expect some discrepancy. Use the config file for best accuracy.

Playing the released game - noticed a discrepancy of the FOV in the game.

When using FOV Scaling Axis On (vertical) and 90 FOV, this is noticeably narrower than FOV Scaling Axis Off (horizontal) with 120 FOV even though it should be very similar.

Hopefully you can find update the calculator.

Thanks.

Correct, it's actually using a 4:3 based FOV, not vertical. I've updated the calculations now, thanks for the info!

When I modify the config file listed for my sensitivity settings it seems not to apply for some reason.

Tried setting the file to read only and the settings seem to stick there, but still doesn't apply in-game.

Any ideas?

Did you play the beta? The config file changed a bit, so if you try to change some settings in-game, then exit, the file will look different.

Actually, never mind it keeps resetting here too. I will remove it for now until we figure out a way to make it work.

It's doing a Tripwire cloud config write-back on launch/setting changes.

It looks like this file only exists to remember your settings when playing in offline mode. With no network connection, the config fully applies, but is immediately overwritten and superseded by the online services once you re-connect.

Yeah, that's what confused me. When I first started the game it couldn't connect to online services, so the config file worked.

Hipfire X and Y are only available to Premium Members, just wondering if that's intended.

Yes, for various reasons some games are premium for the first period. I can give you a more detailed explanation in DM's if you like.

I think every single weapon/sight combo is added now, let me know if I missed any!

I heard somewhere, that should you add the line "bEnableFOVScaling=False" in the input.ini
Does that make any sense or even do anything?

This is the "FOV Scaling Axis" option in the calculator. It changes from horizontal degrees based on resolution when set to off, to horizontal degrees locked to 4:3 (like cs2 etc) when on.

Green Dot and new weapons are added, and the EOS and Sniper Scopes are updated.
