More aims coming soon!
Griffle Members December 8, 20241 yr (edited) Author stats Maybe found something, if you guys want to modify any of these cfg files like (sensitivity) change for ADS you can modify this particular file \Content\GameLite\GameData\EffectPrototypes.cfg to get all the "original cfg" files to look at and modify you can use these extracted files from here: https://www.nexusmods.com/stalker2heartofchornobyl/mods/557?tab=files but to get the game to load your modified cfg file as a "loose file" (not in *.pak extension), simply place it in your Stalker root directory %GameDir%\Stalker2\Content\GameLite\GameData\EffectPrototypes\customName.cfg (Steam/GOG Directory Structure) so you dont have to keep ".pak"'ing them up to test. so pretty much take the name of the file "EffectPrototypes.cfg" create the folder with that name, placed it in a new folder structure outline above and rename the cfg with any custom name you want. You can change both the aim FoV and their associated Sens by a percentage. Now to figure out how to make 1:1 count per pixel for every zoom (hopefully 4x on shotty is not different than 4x assault rifles and snipers ) . You can also remove the lowered sensitivity for being in deep water. Edited December 9, 20241 yr by Griffle
mlem Premium Members December 25, 20241 yr Author stats i just noticed when setting the sensitivity via config file, the ingame sensitivity figures do not correspond with the calculator's ingame numbers. https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=ccc677a2d6adda8646e6c3cc6768c10f In game the figures show as: mouse sensitivity 16% (calculator shows 9%) mouse aim sensitivity 12% (calculator shows 6%) --- assault rifle
Cptkekflip Premium Members December 29, 20241 yr Author stats Not sure if this was in the base game or not, but there is a Mouse Aim Sensitivity setting. are there calculations for this value already? @DPI Wizard

The in-game and config values are completely different, so this is to be expected. 3 minutes ago, Cptkekflip said: Not sure if this was in the base game or not, but there is a Mouse Aim Sensitivity setting. are there calculations for this value already? @DPI Wizard "Mouse aim sensitivity" is already in the calculator. Or have they added more options lately?
Cptkekflip Premium Members December 29, 20241 yr Author stats Oh, I guess the config files may not have changed but in game there is this.

This is the one that is already added, select any aim that is not hipfire (or use the "All" conversion), and this is the value that is being calculated. Do let me know if something doesn't look right on your end in the calculator though
mlem Premium Members December 29, 20241 yr Author stats I understand the config sensitivity figure is different to the in-game sensitivity figure. However i am saying when using Location - in-game, the figures that the calculator tells me to use is incorrect. https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=24a846a7a009a2d3d5b6ddac9d80bc9e Looking at hipfire for now, the calculator tells me: - Location => Config: MouseSensitivityCoef = 0.185529 to get 29.33cm/360 @ 800 dpi. I input that in the config file and load the game. The calculator is correct as my manual measurement of the cm/360 is 29cm/360. The mouse sensitivity inside the game options shows 16%. (i understand it is not meant to be the config figure, not 18.55%) - Location => In-game: Mouse sensitivity 9% to get 29.33cm/360 @ 780 dpi. i load the game and change the sensitivity in the game settings to 9% (i also change my mouse to 780 dpi). This does not give me 29cm/360 as my manual measurement show it is around 40cm/360. If i change the in-game sensitivity to 16% and manually measure then it is 29cm/360. This applies to all the aim-down sensitivities as well. I hope this clarifies the problem and the calculator can be updated. Thank you.

They have changed the in-game scale indeed, I've updated the calculations now
somemadcaaant Premium Members July 27, 20251 yr Author stats The above old xy mod no longer works, the below one does, just choose the Sensitivity Fix ONLY pak. https://www.nexusmods.com/stalker2heartofchornobyl/mods/562?tab=files
d0shie Premium Members June 12Jun 12 (edited) Author stats Did they change the scaling since then? I just came back to this game and the sens is significantly slower than it should be.Never mind, I messed up on my end. Nothing to see here. Sorry. Edited June 12Jun 12 by d0shie
