AIucardd reacted to DPI Wizard in WarfaceI'm a dummy, I got it now!
It's updated with decimals.
-
AIucardd reacted to DPI Wizard in STALCRAFT: XIronsight is still x1, but the others should now simply match the x1.25 calculations.
-
AIucardd reacted to DPI Wizard in STALCRAFT: XThe base sensitivity is updated now. The 1x is indeed the same as hipfire, but will only result in the same sensitivity if the ADS and Hipfire conversion settings are the same, unless the FOV is matched between the games.
-
AIucardd reacted to DPI Wizard in GRAVENThanks for letting me know, the game is updated now.
-
AIucardd reacted to DPI Wizard in Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine III've added ADS now, and also fixed an issue with the calculation for those using a modified FOV.
-
AIucardd reacted to DPI Wizard in ONCE HUMANAll scopes are added now
-
AIucardd reacted to DPI Wizard in ONCE HUMANFeels decent here, maybe some optimization issues? I'm working on getting the missing scopes.
There is seemingly no connection between zoom level and sensitivity, so I need to analyze each of them manually.
-
AIucardd reacted to DPI Wizard in StarfieldSome games cost close to $100 and requires days of work to analyze. There's over 1200 free games here, and still people using the site for free have the audacity to complain about ONE new game that currently is not free. If you don't like it GTFO.
-
AIucardd reacted to DPI Wizard in StarfieldThe hipfire Y scale does not change with aspect ratio (at least not for me). So unless something is affecting it in certain cases, it doesn't make sense to change it based on your aspect ratio.
When I test the vertical 360 distance it is exactly 1.777778 times further than the horizontal sensitivity with the same values, regardless of my actual aspect ratio, be it 21:9 or 16:9.
Note that ADS behaves completely differently, and will be affected differently by both aspect ratio and FOV.
I also have absolutely no issues with smoothing, acceleration, packet loss, stuttering or high polling rates, but I understand that there are quite a few issues with graphics drivers etc that probably affects a lot of players at the moment.

AIucardd got a reaction from DPI Wizard in Nightmare ReaperO, thanks for such a quick response, btw, really nice of you! Hope the current "situation" in the world will resolve soon - I wanna keep supporting this site but, probably, payments from here will be blocked for a while. Thank you, again 👍😄
-
AIucardd reacted to DPI Wizard in Nightmare ReaperYou are right, the game didn't have a vertical option before though. But it is added now
-
AIucardd reacted to DPI Wizard in Game request archiveWhile smoothing can be turned off, this game still has quite a bit of acceleration so it can't be added.
-
AIucardd got a reaction from Jeffy14 in Escape from TarkovOk. People can correct me if I'm wrong.
1. Scopes looked diffenrently when you installed them on "smaller" guns, like SMG. Now "distance from the weapon" is equal for each gun (distance from your "eyes" to optic).
2. Now VUDU eotech 1x zoom is really 1x zoom. Previosly it vas +- x1.5; They fixed HHS-1 hybrid eotech optic (1x zoom now really 1x zoom) too.

AIucardd reacted to stereo3D in Terminator: Resistancei don't have the game, but in case there is no mouse smoothing option:
input.ini
[/Script/Engine.InputSettings] bEnableMouseSmoothing=false -
Ok, I was woundering, is it possible to adjust calculator to specific zoom values (like calculated hipfire sensetivity in Trakov, when you set % of sensitivity reduction by armor)?
I'll explain. So, here is how zoom in destiny 2 works: https://d2.destinygamewiki.com/wiki/Zoom
Also, every gun in destiny 2 has a specific Zoom value:
My favorite gun is Redrix's Claymore (Broadsword). It does't have sight mod and has fixed zoom value "18".
In destiny 2 tearms this means, that Nightshade has x1.7 zoom factor (default without scope mods) and Redrix has x1.8 Zoom.
BUT Nightshade has sight mods. it's means, if Zoom = Base zoom + Scope , than Nightshade + Rifle Scope ST (0.9) = 1.7 + 0.9 = 2.6x. Nightshade + default scope = 1.7 + 0.4 = 2.1x etc.
Can u add this final value? for us to insert zoom value (we can search it in wiki and insert correct x."zoomvalue") to calculate ADS sens?
I'm playing shooters long enough to adjust my sens by "feel", but your help will be welcome :-).
Hipfire calculation is perfect for me. If it's matter, I'm using monitor distance vertical 0% 100% scale (used it for all my games, so I got used to it, feels correct in all games. For me at least)
-
AIucardd reacted to DPI Wizard in Escape from TarkovAdded a lot more scopes now!
Still some more to do but let me know if you find a scope with a scope power from the list that doesn't seem to match. I think there might be some 4x24 that are in fact different from each other etc, still looking into it.
-
AIucardd reacted to DPI Wizard in Escape from TarkovI don't know if this is directed at this site and me or the devs of the game, but when they do a full wipe and change everything requiring a quite dedicated grind to get everything back AND analyse it... It will take time. There's over 500 games here now, imagine just a fraction of them doing this. While this game is quite popular, putting everything aside to grind on a single game is not feasible. If you have any anger direct it at the devs of Tarkov who seemingly have no idea how to implement aim and scope sensitivity.
Even if we get every calculation figured out now, it might change next week. Accompanied with a new wipe... A game in development is fine, but in a game where aiming is a key component they should get aiming figured out way quicker than this.
It's not that hard. You either add sensitivity for each available scope power, or you add a scaling that is linked to the scope FOV. Right now they have scopes with identical FOV that have different sensitivity. This makes absolutely no sense, and it seems like they are just randomly assigning sensitivity to scopes.
-
AIucardd reacted to Traxilla in Escape from TarkovI can gift all of those sights + any guns if needed.
-
AIucardd reacted to DPI Wizard in Escape from TarkovAdded a couple of scopes now.
-
AIucardd reacted to DPI Wizard in Escape from TarkovI'll see if I can get more done tomorrow. This game is not very friendly when it comes to testing!
-
AIucardd reacted to DPI Wizard in Escape from TarkovI'll update the calculations for what I can get my hand on a bit later today. Hopefully there's a more logical scaling to the aims now.
-
AIucardd reacted to TheYellaKing in Escape from Tarkov1x ADS sens without a doubt feels faster now -- used to play at .5 Aim. I'd like to know what that would compute to now.
-
AIucardd reacted to DPI Wizard in Calculator doesn't work (14.02.2020)Updated now, including discrepancy for all scopes with the new Advanced Plus mode.
-
AIucardd reacted to DPI Wizard in Calculator doesn't work (14.02.2020)0% will not show discrepancy. It's in the todo list to add this. The issue is that technically 0% is no distance, so the discrepancy must be calculated based on something else, like 360 distance.
-
AIucardd reacted to DPI Wizard in Escape from TarkovOk, so the Iron sight calculation in the calculator is only valid for guns with no aim attachments, I'll clarify that!
