  1. Your fov setting for apex is wrong. In the bottom right you selected "config file" so you should go into your settings folder (C:\Users\YourName\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex\profile) open it and copy your cl_fovScale value. Then put that value in the calculator FOV setting for apex. (If you want to match your CSGO hipfire to the 1x in Apex the cl_fovScale setting you should use is 1.5 which is 106 fov in game, but remember that the in-game FOV slider is inaccurate, you should always look at the cl_fovScale value)
  2. Probably I didn't explain myself properly, I just wanted to know the speed factors, since they are not included in the calculator. The BF4 calculations work properly only if you had the UsA option ON in BF4, but I am used to the old settings and back in the days there was no UsA. Speed factors (Pre UsA RDS 0.5 Ironsights 0.6 3.4X 0.36 4X 0.31 BF3 RDS/Irons 0.5 BF3 Holo 0.32 Sadly Apex doesn't allow to change the zoom sensitivity for each crossair, the 0%MM they use by default is really fine for the low zoom weapons where I need good tracking, but usually I prefer a 50/70% coefficient on the zoomed weapons that require less tracking and more flickshots like snipers.
  3. I use 6% sens with 70% ads sens in game and 73.74 fov in bf4, with 800 dpi, usa off obviously, how should i convert it to 1x on apex? (1.5 fov on apex) I can't do this from the calculator cause setting the UsA off gives weird values. Sorry for bothering, and thanks
  4. So basically my 1x ADS sens in BF4 is the double of my hipfire sens right? that's why my sens wasn't feeling right using the UsA settings.
  5. Sorry if I bring this back, but I was looking to calculate my old BF4 sens to convert it. I was researching a bit and I found out the ads sights have a 0.5 turn rate in BF4 (like red dot sight) is that info wrong? That's what I've found: Speed factors (Pre UsA RDS 0.5 Ironsights 0.6 3.4X 0.36 4X 0.31 BF3 RDS/Irons 0.5 BF3 Holo 0.32
  6. Hello! I was trying to convert my BF4 ADS sensitivity (1x) to Apex Legends (1x), I remember back in the days I had uniform soldier aiming off, but the calculator gives weird values if i turn it off as the screenshot shows, if i turn UsA in bf4, I get about 55-58cm/360 which is much closer to the right value, but as I said I don't use uniform soldier aiming. Maybe anyone knows what's the zoom ratio of the ads 1x on bf4, and how much the sens is reduced when I zoom, so I can calculate myself what my sens was with UsA off? Thanks!
  7. I have about 70cm/360 on CS and i'm palm, every grip can be good, there are so many factors, it's not like one grip is better than another. As for personal preference, i think claw and fingertip are AWFUL for really low sensitivities. I feel much more in control with my palm grip. Might be completely different for someone else So the right answer is: use the grip that you're comfortable with
  8. Probably on overwatch you make different movements, playstyle might differ from apex in many situations. You might use different scopes in different situations as well. Even if you got the same fov and sensitivity, that's one of the MANY reasons why it might feel different. Trying to match the fov is your best bet, if it still feels uncomfortable, just play and adjust it until it feels fine, without looking too much at the numbers. That's what I would do at least. We can adapt our muscle memory to learn new patterns, it's not like we are forced to have the same exact sensitivity for every game, i never had any problem with that and I always played FPS games at high level. But that's me, might be different for you.
  9. That's so relative. There is no method that will assure you're using the best sensitivity you can honestly. The best thing you can do is to play, play and play. I'll tell you my personal opinion about sensitivity in different games. I used to play CSGO competitively and I use 70cm/360 on that game, but I don't play with the same sensitivity on apex, they're simply two different games that require completely different playstyles, for example targets move really fast on apex and there are many grappling/mobility mechanics, and 70cm on that game just don't feel right for me even tho I tried to use them for quite a bit of time. On apex I use around 58cm/360 for 1x ADS which feels better to me, especially to track fast-moving targets This website is really informative and useful, it can HELP you find the right settings but sometimes people look too much at the numbers. Just use what feels right to you (like pros do)
