Thought I'd post this in case anyone else needed the config key value for mouse wheel scroll up/down since the in game control menu doesn't seem to pick up the scroll wheel inputs:

Go to the Input.ini (Path:%LOCALAPPDATA%\Witchfire\Saved\Config\WindowsNoEditor\Input.ini) and chance the "Key=XXXXXX" of the actionmapping you want to "Key=MouseScrollDown" or "Key=MouseScrollUp".

For example I wanted scroll up to select my primary and down for secondary:

ActionMappings=(ActionName="PrimaryWeapon",bShift=False,bCtrl=False,bAlt=False,bCmd=False,Key=MouseScrollUp)

ActionMappings=(ActionName="SecondaryWeapon",bShift=False,bCtrl=False,bAlt=False,bCmd=False,Key=MouseScrollDown)

I'm not sure when it changed but the calculations here seem to be very inconsistent with the sensitivities in the steam release of this game. Is it possible to have this looked at again?

I'll take a look. Have you disabled smoothing btw?

Yes per the additional info. Thank you!

They've added a proper mouse smoothing option instead, so the old fix doesn't work anymore. Do you have it off?

The calculations are correct though, and I've added the ADS sensitivity to the in-game calculation.

Yes, I had it off.

Is there a minimum sensitivity then? If I plug in my sensitivities (22.5in 360 @ 74 vert fov) then using the same DPI, it recommends a sensitivity of:

MouseSensitivity=0.603568

MouseADSSensitivityModifier=0.817742

However, when I use these the sensitivity is significantly higher (maybe 80%) at the same field of view. Nothing I set in the config file seems to actually change the mouse sensitivity except the whole integer values >= 1.

EDIT: Halving my DPI and using the new recommended sensitivity seems accurate. It appears 1 is acting as a minimum.

Indeed, they have changed the minimum too for some reason. It used to be 0.1, now it's 1. I've updated the limits, so you'll have to adjust the DPI to achieve the desired sensitivity.

FOV Type was also updated, so it has changed to Hdeg 16:9. This has no effect if your monitor is 16:9, only for ultrawide.

Hey sorry to bother you twice in a day! This game seems to have SIGNIFICANTLY lowered the sensitivity slider sensitivity so the calculator is incredibly off for this now! Hope I am not tripping or something haha :D

I also noticed this yesterday, where I had to set my sens like 6x higher than the tool suggestion.

I wonder when and why they changed it, because you can find posts online from less than a year ago where this website was still accurate.

Yeah, they have completely changed how the sensitivity works, I've updated it now.

So I think it is GOOD they did it, the range was pretty useless before as most of the slider was basically way too fast to play the game (I had to set mine to 2 and do the rest over mouse DPI). So I assume they realized this and changed it to make the slider more useful to users!
And thanks so much for foxing it @DPI Wizard !
