This game has a lot of acceleration/inaccurate input registration. Can't be added until they at least fix that, and ideally also add numbers to the sensitivity.

I've noticed some game updates since this post so is it possible to revisit?

Still issues unfortunately, the sensitivity is affected by framerate, which is why it is so inaccurate.

I've seen another update come through on steam. Any chance this has made any changes to the mouse input? 

 

I can see the changelog has the following:

Improved mouse smoothing so it is no longer tied to framerate. You might need to adjust your mouse sensitivity after this update.
