Heya Guys o/

I am trying to convert my settings from overwatch to pubg but I get stuck on the different scopes in PUBG and can't figure out what settings I should use for converting to PUBG to build up  a muslce memory. I've read that 360 distance isn't the best for muscle memory so I wonder if I should start over with conversion setup all on MDH on 0% (what would be the best for tracking movement?) like this:

Screenshot_2.png.d68c3c5664c78662a64e88b68e14523b.png

and then go from Overwatch Hipfire to PUBG FPP All like this:

Screenshot_3.png.435d81a59e65ce2ed5224dbdc2e66f30.png

The result would be:

Screenshot_4.png.a2ee5f0668890d8c236c1f6d0ee84406.png

----------------------------

another setting maybe worth trying would be to convert my Overwatch 360 Distance (hipfire) to PUBG FPP Hipfire with this conversion setup:

Screenshot_5.png.f9dd11ec39dfda838232160297ff1bd2.png

and then convert my 360 Distance from Overwatch to PUBG 360 Distance like this:

Screenshot_6.png.4b356841bbcc7cf16f7595e6c49bf801.png

the result would be:

Screenshot_7.png.b1fe4960852050895213017cf210d528.png

So this would match my 360 distance in Overwatch hipfire with PUBG hipfire (without changing the FPP FOV in PUBG to 103). The reason why I want to stay at 90 FOV in PUBG is because I also often play TPP and the FOV is fixed to 90 in TPP.

After this I would convert my new 360 Distance Hipfire in PUBG to MDH for ADS/Scopes in PUBG like this:

Screenshot_9.png.7c47117677c927992f4c4ef8ccc1da76.png

and the result would be:

Screenshot_10.png.9ebef191819449bf6fd2642ff1e5aac4.png

--------------

So I wonder what would be the best to deal with the different Scopes in PUBG and the ADS Zoom/FOV.

Try creating 1527x859 custom resolution with black bars and set hipfire to 360 distance this make your 360 distance and sensitivity same cuz black bars contain your missing fov in pubg only con is black bars in this option but I think its worth. If you do this dont forget to choose MDV %0 for scopes it depends.

1527x859 calculated here its not just a random number and not work for every situation it depends on your fov in your situation looks like it works very well.

Thank you both for the quick answer.

So I understand that I should go for the custom resolution like Pyroxia has posted (1527x859) and then leave the FPP FOV on 90? Or should I also set the FPP FOV to 103 like in Overwatch?

So I convert like this with 90 FOV?

Yes

Okay thank you. I will give it a try now.

Is there another configuration worth trying just in case I feel uncomfortable with the black bars? Even if this means I need to change the FPP FOV in PUBG also to 103?

if you are playing in TPP mode yes change your fpp fov to 103 and match MM%0 for everything this makes your hipfire cm/360 slower than overwatch cuz you are using different fov for tps pubg if u care your 360 cm so much do like @fortunate reee match 360 distance and %0MDV with scopes. But it feels fast in pubg and slow in overwatch cuz you are not matching your hipfire fov. Long run in pubg make you inconsistent in overwatch's hipfire.
