Apex legends to Warzone verification

Recommended Posts

Hello, just been meaning to check if my calculations to convert my sensi from apex legends to the new call of duty warzone is correct (as i mostly play apex nowadays).

My sensi is 1.4 with 800dpi on the mouse with a fov of 90.

My screen is actually a 4k oled tv, i play in 1440p fullscreen (for 120fps).

Previously i used the 360 method manually when converting my sensi from csgo to BFV and then to apex but i havent touched those games in months and i gradually lowered my sensibility in apex.

So after reading the instructions i feel like the horizontal method should be good ?

I could use any input on this, thanks

its really awful to use a tv for fps I would buy a cheap 144hz monitor asap 60 hz is terrible

I play at 120hz with gsync, why on earth would i buy a cheap monitor? LOL

Also my tv will support 120hz in 4k as soon as hdmi 2.1 gpus will be out.

You might want to change your Warzone FOV to 105.5 as this will match Apex giving you the exact same sensitivity in both games.

Sweet, thank you !

id be careful about that whole 120 hz tv stuff odds are you are playing on 60hz with black frame insertion/ shenanigans  that is being marketed as 120 , unless you did proper research in that case just ignore this

as the guy above mentioned it is helpful to match hor and vertical fov

this can simply be done with (in your case 73.02111 would work on vdeg )

No worries, they have been validated by nvidia for a reason ;) and it has been confirmed by tech channels who know their stuff

Didn't see the Vertical FOV thanks :D

I think i am missing something on the FOV config though.

If i put auto FOV with this value it will be correct on every game? Cause the FOV setting still appears on the first game calculation and it's messing up everything

For people who are not aiming to play at a pro-level it doesn't matter. Nobody asked for your opinion, also even if my panel was 60hz only i would take an oled panel other ANY other 120 or 144hz panel without question. Having a better framerate does not make you a good player, skill does.

name one pro player that actually cares enough to do proper research

and name one pro payer that isn't contractually obligated to use overpriced brand shit

pro settings arent great for you and pro gear fits the exact same statement

it depends if you got apex on 90 in game and not actual 90 there is a slight difference ( id recommend making sure you got the right value in the config file

i like using 73.74 vdeg since that number is easy to memorize and it is exactly 4;3 90 / 16;9 106.26

( really doesnt matter what fov type you select for auto fov ,as long as you verify that hor and vertical fov stay identical across the games you play )

in theory auto fov should work close to flawless although id keep an eye on it just for sure

( it is far easier than manually typing in the right fov number each time you want to calculate anything )

apex 90

Actual VFOV:
73.021112 degrees
Actual HFOV:
105.538882 degrees

actual 90
Config FOV:
cl_fovScale "1.285717"
Actual VFOV:
73.739978 degrees
Actual HFOV:
106.260387 degrees

there is a small difference id highly recommend you change that in the settings file for the sake of uniformity
