Conversion of Sensitivity from old monitor to new.

I used to game at my old monitor 18.5 inches (768x1280) at 500 dpi and in game sensitivity of 0.94 in Valorant. Now, I have bought a new  23.6 inches monitor (1080x1920). I have same 500 dpi so how should I calculate my new in game sensi in valorant so I get same accuracy as my previous monitor. I know this sounds very dumb but please help me. Thank you.

just put the same sens value and it will be the same sens atleast cm/360 wise. The only issue will be your resolution is gonna feel weird because your monitor was smaller before, kinda like playing between 4:3 and 16:9 on csgo.

believe it or not that is exactly why matching exists (for scaled options )

true but monitor matching is only matched to an extent, cm/360 will always be superior for muscle memory its much more efficient to move between games. Besides in the first place you shouldn't be using different scales and if you truly think your aim is closer when using monitor matching over cm/360 i think thats just an excuse against using cm/360 because bad aim

im using 360 dist where 360 distance is usefull (in hipfire conversions at the same fov /when i have properly matched focal legth )

 

^aka when there is no downsight  to using it

 

in any other scenario (i.e for ads/scopes) there are objectively  better options out there

fair but you arent matching your ads on cod to your widow scope, but end of the day just aim. cm/360 does the trick to match close enough to where it doesnt matter that much as long as you've practiced

been where you are now, a couple of years ago was a full on 360  head .

i wouldn't go back and neither would anyone else that has actually tried a properly matched setup

 

 

 

i can see why you are defending 360dist tho its "simple" and doesn't take a calculator to get a baseline rolling

^that doesn't mean you should go around telling others especially new pc players to use that option as a kind of wonder solution to all their problems

 since simple isn't always smart

buying the lifetime membership  > ea starwars battlefront still the best decision i made back in the day

Thank you everyone for your support. I just increased my dpi by 50 and it felt like before maybe will take me just little longer to adapt to big size of the monitor.
