Arma 3 FOV Multiplier Confusion

Go to solution Solved by DPI Wizard,

Recommended Posts

Arma 3 has an infamous issue with fovTop and fovLeft needing to be calculated in a specific way based on resolution in order for the game window to not break and throw a fit.

A few sites out there try and help with this, one of which being https://gamecalculator.netlify.app/#/arma3-fov-calculator

However when I input the FOV I'd like (for instance let's keep it at 100) I get a FovTop value of 1.19 (The resolution I input is 2560x1440)

When moving to mousesensitivity
.com I set the multiplier value for FovTop at 1.19, but when I check to see what that value would in terms of Hdeg 16:9 or 4:3 it's 120 and 105 even though the FOV calculation websites I use state it's an FOV of 100
Here's a link to the conversion if needed
https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=55b345628de820aef01a62eca9c6107b

TLDR; I can
't figure out what the correct FOV is that I'm playing at in order to properly use the converter
