  1. I'm surprised nobody hasn't verified this. I will be on the Steam version for this one. Apparently: The Evil Within 2 has forced smoothing (and maybe acceleration, but I doubt it), trying to use either "m_smooth" and "m_sensitivity" do not work. (did you know that The Evil Within 2's Engine is a heavily modified version of id Tech 5)? However: First-Person mode is not affected by it, as long as it doesn't switch to Third-Person mode during specific sequence or you press/hold the Aiming button.
  2. I finally got to play a bit of Max Payne 3 using the FusionFix (don't worry, it doesn't have any fixes related to Mouse Input stuffs...at least to my knowledge), and based on a quick 360 Distance manual calibration test between myself and using the calculator... if it weren't for Mouse Smoothing: it would've be a lot closer to Grand Theft Auto IV's Mouse settings (in terms of following Max Payne 3's default, being 3 sens).
  3. With the release of Steam Client update of October 25th 2023 (or in September 18th 2023 if you participate the Steam Client Beta), Steam Input's Gyroscope/Motion Sensor Input Styles is under renovation. One of the renovation is the "As Mouse" Gyro mode is getting overhauled to use Natural Sensitivity Scale system. As opposed to numeric sliders: everything's now done by calibrating the Angles to Mouse Pixels (Dots Per 360°), this value is also shared with another Input Style called Flick Stick. During the Steam Client Beta period, someone found a easier and quicker way to calibrate the Flick Stick's real world sensitivity values via mouse-sensitivity's calculator, after that: A couple of Gyro Gaming users (yours included) has been experimenting with the calculator for use in New Gyro system. (even one created a dedicated calculator for used in Steam Input's Natural Sensitivity Scale, of course: a lot of it is based on this website's) Unfortunately: one of the downside of using this website's calculator (and various others) is that they rely on the Mouse DPI, but Angle to Mouse Pixels relies on the 360° Distance Counts. So, we had to workaround it by setting the DPI to either 1600 or take SteamInput's default value (6545px) just to get the results. Will there be a option to skip the Mouse DPI on the calculator entirely?
  4. While I was working on the video regarding Gyro/Flick Stick Angle Calibration: I frequency double check this website to ensure I got the sensitivity scale is accurate...but just now i've been informed by someone that Counter-Strike 2 has now moved the default sensitivity to 1.25 ("1.250000"), however: the website still says 2.5. So, I went ahead and double check on my end...and it is indeed 1.25. I dunno if it's a developer oversight or the goalpost has been moved again...but regardless: Do you folks believe it warrants a updating the page to be accurate?
