  1. Are you using same fov? Because your Field of View affects how it feels.
  2. Mind showing a picture of your mousepad being vertically? I have heard people of doing this to have more arm restin on pad while still having space to move your mouse on the pad as well. Just wonder since its a bit vertically.. doesnt it make the glide feel a bit different than if it was just normally on the desk?
  3. I'm not sure if this is the right place to discuss this, but since it's aim related thought it might be the place. I have times/days where my arm/hand in general moves very slowly and feel sluggish. It feels like it's not even my own arm or hand. it just feels slow than usual and feels so "lifeless" it's my hand doesnt move as I want it to during those times . I wonder what might be causing this? I get pretty much 7-9 hours sleep and I'm eating usually 3-4 times a day. Only drink I drink is Water and Soy milk. My water in take is about 0,5 - 1 liter a day depending how thirsty I feel. Could this be related to some sort of vitamin deficiency ?
  4. There definitely is hybrid grips. I personally use a fingertip with my G303 and during intense moments I go into a claw so I'd say I'm a hybrid as well since I mostly use my fingertips to control my mouse and arm for big swipes. OP's grip looks like relaxed claw/fingertip hybrid to me.
  5. So viewspeed over monitor distance? This should also be applied to hipfire or is hipfire better with 360?
  6. Yeah just a bit weird how 48cm works fine on OW, but Apex it just feels too slow. I mostly play just Overwatch though. I just use numbers as guidelines sort of. Just thinking if I should lower it to 40-43cm and stick with that, since I'd like to have one sens across all games I play.
  7. Well but PSA method is following an object or w/e and then choosing between high and low though.. o.o
  8. With following the dot I meant PSA method. I think it just feels kinda flawed. Is there actually someone who's used it and just stuck with that sensitivity and can call it their "perfect" one?
  9. Just kinda still in the "wonder what sensitivity suits me better" phase(more like for over 4-5 years). Been through the follow a dot on a wall trick and then doing constant flicks to right or left side of mouse pad to try and determine a sensitivity.. so I was playing about 24-25cm / 360 for a month or so, but felt like long range shots were impossible unless I squeezed my mouse super hard. Although I'm trying to flick, I feel like when I'm not consciously thinkin about flicking I will start tracking.. and it causes a problem. Although I switched like 2 days ago to 48cm / 360 which feels okay to me in Overwatch/CS/BFV.. but in Apex Legends it just doesn't seem to work out too well. My Ads sometimes lags behind of people and if ppl come fight me right into my face I can't keep up with swipes. So I started just googling and checking sensitivities of various people and was wondering if there's somewhere actually a list of average sensitivity of pro players across multiple fps titles.. but couldnt find one. One thing that kinda bothers me is that... this certain cm/360 seems kinda special. For some reason I see a lot of people use that. It is 34.6364 cm / 360 . I'm not sure what makes it so special, but perhaps someone can enlighten me. So far what I've learned about myself as a fps player is that my mouse control doesn't seem to be very good, which means high sens is a no go for me. So I'm thinking that some sort of a low sensitivity probably should suit me. 48cm aim wise is nice, but if I could just retain that aim and still have a bit more freedom in movement it'd be superb.. so I'm not sure should I try to compromise and just drop my sensitivity from 48cm to like 40 or even to the magic number 34.6364 cm or just stick with my 48cm .
  10. Personally I don't think it is right or even wise to tell people to use acceleration. It is your own personal opinion, I don't think forcing your own ideals on others is helpful. As for m_mousespeed 0 vs 1 ... when in doubt use 0. There's something with this setting on 1 that makes mouse movement really weird. At one point I thought it might enable some sort of acceleration. All I know is that I feel mouse movement being better with this setting set to 0. That could be just me, but that is my take on this setting. Feel free to test it out yourself .
  11. Well I'm not sure if I get the frictions right but kinetic is how easy it is to get your mouse moving and static is how much friction or resistance pad gives as you're on the move. I know people might hate me for this, but I will say that G-SR is garbage mousepad. It is affected too much by humidity and it might be fine for first month which after it becomes god awfully slow. Yeah many CSGO pros might use it, but I personally just think it is waste of money and that Razer Gigantus or any of Artisan pads just beats it hands down. This is just my personal opinion of course based on my own experience with both the original blue one and the new black G-SR. I have few mousepads and well there's just something about Artisan Zero's surface that although it does have fast glide initial friction is low so its really easy to get the mouse moving and static friction in it feels to be less than Qck+/heavy however it stops where you want it to. Then again mouse feet do affect how a mousepad will feel. I use on all my mice Hyperglide/Corepadz mouse feet which are pure teflon/PTFE as far as I know and they're white.. while your usual mouse feet you see companies but have gone different treatment and they're usually black and so they give more feedback resistance . Hyperglide/Corepadz give you a smooth and a bit faster gliding experience in comparison. Still I have used both Qck and Artisan Zero for a good while on Hyperglides and they both pretty much stop where I want them to. I can feel in use that Qck does have more static friction/resistance while on the move. To get your mouse moving feels nearly the same with Zero and Qck. It might be placebo, but I feel like my aim just tiny tiny bit more precise/accurate with Qck. However my accuracy stats seem to be the exact same with both pads. What I like about Artisan Zero is it is consistent regardless of humidity and it feels the same to me. As well as having moderate/medium glide speed it still stops exactly where you want it to. My room and apartment always been really dry.. like air wise. There's static electricity all over the place. Finally after 6 years I've decided to just buy some cheap humidifier. There are people who are kind of oblivious and will say "mousepad is a mousepad they all feel the same" some just are not sensitive enough to notice a change. I personally can aim pretty much with any pad that is not the problem, problem is me being comfortable with the pad and it's speed/stopping power. Basically if anyone wants more friction than what Qck+ or G-SR can offer... just get competition/master feet from Hotlines gaming or just find some high friction PTFE sheets and make your own. Then again I personally feel that'd be overkill and would say at that point you might be either playing with a too high of a sensitivity or you mistake missing a shot to your actual accuracy. Sorry for the long post.. sometimes I get a bit carried away.
  12. Hybrid pads are usually hard to stop on... aren't they? I play at 31.16 cm / 360
  13. Artisan Zero was my favorite pad. I'm trying to look something with similar stopping power(I guess you'd call it static friction? ) . Reason for that is hair... yes all sorts of hair gets stuck in the weave/cloth and doesn't come off... unless you go pinching them off one by one. Any suggestions? I do have laying around here Razer Gigantus and Qck+(currently using Qck+ over Zero). Humidity seems to be an issue here... as it is outdoors about 80-100% humidity.. however indoors I think humidity is pretty much non existent at least in my apartment. Air feels really dry and whenever I lift my mousepad of the desk I can hear this zappin noise and yes it gives a little shock to me. I ordered some cheap humidifier off amazon hoping it might get rid of this static electricity around my apartment. Most likely arrives here by friday. As for mouse I'm currently using EC2-A. Kinda hoping to find somewhere a long but slim body mouse.. like around 53-55 width and length about 124-130mm would seem pretty ideal. I stumbled on amazon to a product called Plugable gaming mouse which looks promising, just no clue what is he grip width of the mouse.. from it's widest point I guess it's about 68mm .
  14. Yeah I'm currently at 39.29 cm / 360 . Still unsure if it's good or if I'll struggle with turning. I suppose I should just keep that for 1-2 weeks and then see if I need to adjust it to somewhere 35-36 cm / 360 . I did play yesterday with it okayish. Just throws me a bit off since the fastest character in Overwatch also has pretty small hitbox so makes them hard to hit regardless of sensitivity. Although I feel like vs them a bit faster sensitivity should work a bit better.
  15. My brain overheating just by trying to figure it out. Sucks to be bad at math...
  16. My range of motion where I can do as fast as possible swipe is around 18-20cm though. This could also explain why my playstyle/movement is sort of slow. I'm amazed and a bit jealous of people who can actually move their hand/arm at such high speeds tbh. Then again I'm a small person around 164 cm height. I could see someone a bit bigger fellow being able to swing their mice around much easier. That's at least what I personally think.. not sure how much of that in reality is true.
  17. I actually tested it. First using a ruler and then mouse tester. Both show 18-21cm. I can't move more than that in a single swipe as fast as I can. I tried to imagine a situation where I would have to turn 180 as fast as possible. if I move my arm/hand any faster than that it feels like it will come off or dislocate itself .
  18. Sure I can extend it to somewhere 25-30cm maybe.. but my arm doesnt like it at all and it would tire my hand out really fast doing that. Yes I'm pretty sure. if I calculated it correctly it would mean Im somewhere in 33.96 cm / 360 ? Although I mostly just play Overwatch. theres certain models that are really hard to hit.. like Baby Dva, Tracer and Widowmaker to some extent. For small movements using your technique I'd have to also push my wrist more into the pad, I cant see myself doing this. As for current peripherals Im using Zowie Fk2 and DM pad as mousepad. Not sure if the mousepad has too much glide to it or not. Feels kinda fast. Will be trying out G pro wireless monday-tuesday to see how it is. But well yeah... I cant move my hand any faster than that. Not to mention if I get stuck to enemy pace.. example them moving really fast I'd try to compensate and lose the sight of my own moving pace which makes it impossible to aim. However If Im conscious of myself and just stay calm and try to aim then It's somewhat okay. I just can't really find a sensitivity that would suit me. It usually ends up me either moving too fast or too slow.. finding that middle ground seems hard. Especially considering how long I've been playing. At times I feel like I should just quit playing CSGO/OW altogether ... then again I'd just get bored to death.
  19. I can't move my hand fast at all. My movement using my arm and wrist is about 19-20cm. That's how fast I can move it per second. Since I pretty much suck at math I probably cant even calculate that. Also when it comes to micro movements or super small movements I can't do that. It starts to feel like I have to squeeze my mouse even tighter and I dont like doing that.
  20. Someone should give ELI5 on hand-eye coordination . I've been for very long being unable to settle on sensitivity so I might be switching it up after a week or after 2 months. I've been lately trying to practice following targets with my eyes rather than with my crosshair. However to me it seems like when I do this my hand doesn't really follow my eye movements. Not to mention I keep switching mice cause I start to feel uncomfortable with them after a while and same goes for mousepads. On top of that I even ended up switching grip styles. I personally can play like maybe 50-60 cm /360 in CS:GO but in Overwatch I can not. I mean I did play around 70cm/360 in overwatch for couple months, but problem is that my aim and movements are slow. I'm not sure is this my "aiming style" but I can't move my hand fast. If I try to force it, it's like something hits breaks on my whole arm. Also swiping really fast and re-centering I can not do without being conscious of it. Cause of all of this I've completely just forgotten and lost my own signature. I dont know am I flicker or tracker . Flicking makes my hand tire out really fast... while tracking feels like I can never be 100% on the target and due to my slow aiming it feels like I cant turn 180 fast enough with lower sensitivities. Currently I've been playing with 32.55 cm /360 For about a month or so.. I have switched it from 28 to 30 to 32 during this time and still can't really settle. I don't know how it seems so hard to figure out a sensitivity that feels right. Have been trying out these videos that tell you "your PERFECT sensitivity " I'm sure you have also heard of this method. I guess Im just trying to look for a way to find one that would suit me. 3000 hours APB:Reloaded (Quit the game due to the amount of cheaters) 3500 hours CS:GO (Was supreme for a long time and now I've pretty much stoped playing CS and my MM floats around MGE) 1700 hours Overwatch (2 games away from masters, then started dropping every season until I got stuck to high platinum and right now struggling staying at Diamond with 3100 SR) I'm still trash. I guess where I'm going with this is that I'd just like some help regarding my sensitivity.. as well as my addiction of buying mice and mousepads in hopes of finding that "one" . Any help or tips/tricks regarding this would be greatly appreciated.
  21. This has to do with your mouse. DPI is never exactly 400,800,1600,3200 or w/e value the mouse manufacturers advertise. It will always be a bit lower or higher.
  22. Thanks. I will just use 360 from desktop to game.
  23. Question is do you really want to use hipfire sensitivity on scoped. I would imagine people want it to be a bit lower since your fov gets smaller and so targets seem to move faster although they're not.
  24. If 100% is from left edge to right edge of screen then I'd rather just use 360 distance desktop to game.
  25. Yeah I checked. desktop to in-game with 360 distance the sensitivity is lower than with viewspeed. Viewspeed should be better since using 360 for different fov games makes the sensitivity feel much different. I really can't tell which one feels closer to my desktop feel. 2.51 or 2.89
