  1. Oh no, i know input lag won't PHYSICALLY change the cm/360 i was thinking of it like being so delayed that maybe the game wasn't register it cause i'm CERTAIN something's wrong with the PERCEIVE sens. Best way to described it would be to play on a wet mousepad, micro adjustements are so hard to perform it is like the game is skipping some inputs (deadzone). Well maybe you're right the bug from the beta might actually still affect some people... But anyway, thank you for taking the time to answer my questions, i guess i'll just have to wait on Dice to figure out things. Thanks man, see you.
  2. Ok, i respect that no problem. So basically what you're saying is that even if a 1,5x in 2042 have the exact same fov DECREASE than a 2x in BFV USA still does it job correctly nontheless ? Ok i trust the math on that matter but man something is off for sure and i'm not coming to this because x streamer or youtuber say so but playing 2042 for 20 mins and going back to Siege or even Modern Warfare is night and day. Is it possible that the way you are calculating stuff could be correct and incorrect at the same time because of things like INPUT LAG for example ? And thanks for your answer by the way.
  3. Hi, Wizard would you please give me the mathematical equation use for calculating sens in games ? I know aspect ratio + fov are use etc. The reason why i'm asking you this is because in battlefield 2042 the scopes all have " WRONG " values when it comes to fov decrease or zoom level therefore USA is not working properly at all. So what i would like to do is calculating my sens PER SCOPE myself by using the WRONG values. Hope that make sense ? Would really appreciate some help with this. Thanks.
  4. Check ! An you're absolutely right. Didn't catch this parameter ! All good now, thanks man.
  5. Hi people, can someone explain me this ? I'm trying to correctly have the same FOV from Rainbow Six Siege (which is 90vertical therefore 120+horizontal with a 16:9 aspect ratio) to Battlefield V ? Anyone ?
  6. Ok, thanks ! That is one thing done ! Now i just have to understand how to use the calculator correctly lol. See you in a couples of days guys. Thanks again ^^
  7. Hi man, so i search on the website to understand that coefficient thing and want to know if get it right ? Can you help me here too see if i get it ? 178% = let say my crosshair is at what is in the middle of my screen facing a player and in my field of view ( with scope ) there is two players at the edges of my screen one left one right. What 178% will do is giving me the same mouse movement as my " hipfire " for THAT SPECIFIC movement which is from middle of my FOV to the edge of it ? 133% will give me the same mouse movement this time not from the middle to the edge of my fov but to 75% of it. And 0% will just scale the mouse movement from the fov ( the zoom ) of my scope. Is that right ?
  8. No, don't worry, it will take me quiet time to understand everything that you just say but i will dive into the instruction to further increase my understanding of the subject, so no that's cool man ! Thanks to you i just set every of my games today so this is done now ! Except for one " Apex " this one has his fov max out to 106 if i get it right so my problem is that when i use the calculator with " TARGET FOV " and use well 88 since i'm converting from R6 it gives me 119.5595...... Which from my understanding is the HORIZONTAL FOV in my case 88V = 119H so the calculator give me values such as " cl_fovScale " and all scopes " mouse_zoomed_sensitivity_scalar " but since apex caps its fov it seems like the calculator doesn't take that into account and therefore i'm wondering if those values are right ? And obviously now i'm stuck since i don't have enough knowledge to overcome this school case .. So i put 73 as the " TARGET FOV " so it give me 106 on the apex side and i'm gonna rock with that let me know if it was the right move. Thanks man
  9. Waw ! I just woke and this is what i found. Bro i couldn't thank you enough, as i have plenty of games but only playing siege in a worry to not messed up my muscle memory ! Alright so if i get it correctly what you're saying is that is better now for to use the " 0% " in siege and well rebuilt my muscle memory from the ground up so i can be able to just find the perfect " hipfite " and then use 0% in any game and therefore even if in siege there is no let say 6x if in another there is one it will be intuitive to me to play with it instead of using different value ? So 50 everywhere in siege when it come to ads and then 0% in every other game and i should be fine ? Ok i get it. Just one last question. Alright for the 0% that's cool but if the game have value to his ads like battlefield which has 100% ads for example, i will not have to change that value since i'm on 0% am i right there ? And it's ok, i fully understand english i just don't speak it that well. Again ! You made my day and many more to come man, so thank you a lot ! I'll give your video a try maybe those dark area in my brain about ads will lighten up. Thanks man
  10. Ok so what you guys are trying to say to me is that " using different value for every scope is not the play ? " I do not want to argue with you guys because " well " you guys knows on this topic way more than me, but in siege you are clearing a lot of angle by being scoped in and " if " i give this a try let say put every scope at 50 What you guys are saying is that i will be able to have the same feeling in other games by just setting the hipfire sens and then use 0% but every scope will have a different movement/cm ? Do i get it correctly ? ( Sorry for my english i'm french ) And by the way thanks a lot already !
  11. Ok. I'll list my settings in a sec but i would like to understand it so i can do it by myself with other game. So my problem is that hipfire is top notch i always manage to be able to convert it from siege to any other game but when it come to ads is where things get tricky for example in MW OF BFV You have coefficient and i don't know what is the coefficient in siege. So should i play MW OR BFV at 0 / 133 / 178 i don't know and this is what bother me ... Here is my settings in siege. Sens H/V: 8 DPI: 400 ASPECT RATIO: 16:9 FOV: 88 1x: 58 1.5x: 97 2x: 99 2.5x: 101 3x: 102 4x: 103 5x: 103 12x: 159

  13. I'm looking for the same type of answer ... How to convert ads sens between games when R6 is my main game ...... I cannot play MW / Battlefield or even Apex because all i'm able to do with my knowledge on this website is convert " HIPFIRE " but i cannot find anything on how to also convert my ads sens to other games
  14. Bro you are actually the goat ! But i'm still not sure that my value are good maybe i did something wrong ! My in game sens is for hipfire H/V 14 or 15 ( i'm still undecided ) - 400dpi - 88 fov - 16/9 - 24pouces monitor. Can i ask you to do it for me so i can saw if we get the same values ( i have a premium account ) it's just that i'm not quiete familiar with the way the convertor work What i'm trying to have is exactly half of my hipfire sens when ads with 1x but since my hipfire fov is V88/H119 and the ads fov is V79/H111 i'm not sure to have the good values
  15. Ok, that's cool that you're trying to teach me that there is " better " way, i appreciate that but i wasn't asking for advice or if thing gonna feel weird. I was just asking to an " HOW " do it and that's it. All use 360⁰ distance for all of my scope so if i got the 1x right i wont have to be worry about anything else. I do not want have monitor distance ( mouse pad ) scaling for the same reason mentioned before, for " ALL " my scope a want to be in my confort range swap. Anyway, thank you to taking the time to answer me in the first place.
  16. I found my hipfire 360⁰ sens by finding my confort zone. When in neutral position on my mouse pad i have a certain left and right range of movement that i'm confortable in right ? So from that i decide to set my sens so while playing i'm never out but in my confort zone of movement. Meaning that i set my hipfire sens to allow me FROM neutral position when going right for example to make a 360⁰ meaning that from neutral = 360⁰ left " UNTIL THE END OF MY CONFORT ZONE " and 360⁰ right " UNTIL THE END OF MY CONFORT ZONE " so if i want to do a complete 360⁰ i just have to do a left or right swap from neutral to the end of my confort zone range. I need that much sens/movement in camera mode " hipfire " because of the situations i make myself into, i need to be able to react with ease. But when it comes to " ADS " since " all of my engagements are always in a 90⁰ angle in front of me, i absolutly do not need that much sens/movement speed for ads. So i can get back some accuracy by having a lower sens for my ads. So what i'm trying to do is actually simple but i'm new to pc so somethings still goes through my head, is have the same 360⁰ swap but only for 180⁰ this time. So in my head if my hipfire 360⁰ swap is made in a range of 30cm then for the same swap in ads i should have 60cm 360⁰ and therefore 30cm = 180⁰ swap since the swap i'm interested in is the 180⁰ one. In simple termes, i want to be able to make in hipfire a 360⁰ turn in 30cm and in ads 180⁰ in 30cm too. So my only question is: since the fov is different from hipfire to 1x are those value are right ? I'm french sorry for my english.
  17. Hi to be more precise my sens for 360° hipfire is 30cm so it would be logic at least for me that 60cm should be equal to 180° but since hipfire and 1x scope doesn't have the same field of view.. Does someone have an idea of how can i found my 180° sens for 1x from my 360° hipfire sens ? Sorry i'm a noob and also french so please forgive my english. Peace and thanks for any answer !
  18. Ok, so in R6 i can " only " matched one ? It is either 1x or acog ? Is this right ?
  19. @Wizards does that mean that if i want the exact same sens/feel in rainbow six than battlefield instead of playing with 1.78 coeff i should go for 1.33 ?
  20. Hi Wizard, i'm trying to find it in the forum but don't get it can you explain me how can i have the same sens from R6 to Pubg i got it for others games but this time because of the fov on pubg i'm kind of stuck ! Thanks man !

  21. Hi guys i know this topic is outdated but i'm in the same case ! First pc gaming and my main concern is consistency or in others words muscle memory ! My main game is Rainbow Six Siege and on this game i have 17inches for 360⁰ hipfire ! And 1:1 hipfire and ads meaning that my ads is the same that my hipfire. I read all of this 360 distance and 0% monitor match and i still wondering in my case 1:1 hipfire and ads 360⁰ which one to use to have the same sens on every game because i live battlefield / the new cod and it is a nightmare for me to figure it out ! Thanks to anybody answering this and please excuse my english, i'm french !
