Some games have really bad sensitivity ranges where you have to do trial and error with numerous CPI settings or manipulate (if the game is affected by it) the FOV settings in order to get the lowest discrepancy possible. Is there a way to automatically do this?
Decided to play through this gem again as I wait for Doom Eternal to release, and I noticed that y-axis aiming isn’t 1:1 with the x-axis with either the prescale option disabled or enabled.
Would you mind taking a look at this again @DPI Wizard?
You're right, but I didn't want my zoom sens to be 22.8058cm/360 cause that'd be way too fast. I wanted my zoom sens to be scaled by the focal length without doing a two step conversion.
It all depends on the sensor of your mouse. For those with a 3366 or a Hero, it doesn't matter what cpi you play at, but generally for most mice I wouldn't go past 1600 cpi since that's the threshold that most sensors start interpolating counts.
