  1. thoughts on viewspeed, because I've just started to mess around with mdh/mdv but viewspeed always felt solid
  2. Ah gotcha, when I use 0% my ads speed is really slow especially on 2x and up, with view speed it feels better. but if 0% is the best then ill use it
  3. awesome thankyou, just out of curiosity how's is view speed for ads not sniper scopes etc, I feel in games like cod or apex my ads speed is slow ?
  4. I don't know why I have that 43 inch there I'm goanna change that, what if you can't match fov does mdv still work?
  5. ill see how it feels cant hurt, and is the mdh /mdv % solid or I'm I missing something I'm always trying to optimize thank you!!
  6. https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=3135a525ab81c3f662d02c3cd9ed5ba7 that's my current settings, focal length I never noticed that ill give it a go
  7. Quick question, whenever I use Monitor distance horizontal etc my ads speed feels pretty slow, I match fov I keep the same resolution is there a specific way I should be going about this cause I don't really know what all these settings do thank you! Also, if the game can't match fov what's the best way to go about that, since I want to keep my sens as consistent as possible?
  8. I see, even hipfire, because I always used 360 distance? I also used the vertical method its feels better compared to horizontal
  9. what is these settings, I know they can change from person to person, but is there some general layout that produces similar sens regarding aspect ratio, dpi and so on?
  10. Ah I gotcha thank you, my mouse for instance has preset dpi levels 400, 800,1600,3200, so I was trying to find a way to make the turn speed similar despite fov which can be a pain. Iwas multiplying my sens by 1.732 by using tan(120/2)/tan(90/2) since one game I use 90 and I like the tun speed but on 120 fov it feels super slow, idk if the JT method helps with that or something else.
  11. could you just use the JT method on all of them, hipfire ads etc.? Im trying to get my sens to a comfortable level on every game since fov is a factor I've had a hard time with turn speeds one game is fast and normal and the other is extremely slow.
  12. if the fov doesn't match fully, ex: in apex I want to match at 110 and overwatch has only 103, csgo has 90. does the calculator match it as accurate as possible so muscle memory is retained , or is there some setting needed to help with the conversion, like matching the fov type, exc. I'm using monitor distance horizontal for everything and its been great just curious Thankyou
  13. if i use mouse distance horizontal for hipfire, ads ,scope exc do I have to match the fov to the exact value, or match the fov type, or maybe use multiplier, for the output game and match the fov as close as possible. If thers another way im open for anything i just read that using Monitor distance horizontal is best for tracking speed which I feel is important for consistency. Thx
  14. my bad so the command you wrote when I try to enter it, it says command unknown (doesn't work for some reason). The ads is the same as the hip fire so with this sens and fov does that mean that the rust aiming moving around with other guns exc will feel basically the same as other games?
  15. and also i see the sens is the same, so with the settings you helped me with is the fov and the sens the same as other games ?
  16. also tthis might just be me being a dumbass but when I put the command into the console it doesn't work.
  17. Thankyou for everything you did for me I just wanted to make sure that when I play Rust I don't f-myself over with all these weird sensitivities, I'm going to try them out !
  18. I saw that the HDH was different values and the HDV was all similar I'm going to try HDV first because you said that rust uses that method, I used your doc and changed the values I used the straight up sens from the calulator https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=6731d704665e712bab3775b63afed891 (hipfire). I used the values you provided and put them into the ads section of the command. I didn't know what to do with the numbers in the parentheses because I don't have the sens matcher you have. Also should I use 90 fov in game, and in your opinion because the numbers you had were different do you prefer HDH ?? If I have any more questions ill let you know and sorry for not really knowing to much about this, it happens to be out of my area of expertise, but thankyou again.rust sens doc.txt
  19. thx for the help it means a ton, sorry if I seem to not know much because I don't. I going to try to set up I just wish there were separate sens options or a file was added to allow these actions to happen without the need to copy and paste it each time, its just lazy on their part in my opinion.
  20. also I didn't how to get the image to show up like other peoples sorry about that if the link doesn't work I can manually type them.
  21. https://www.mouse-sensitivity.com/?share=6731d704665e712bab3775b63afed891 This is my config on the website ill get the sens matcher and read your pinned convo again and try to get the numbers correct thx again boss!
  22. I'm looking at the doc that you posted, and I'm not certain how to approach this with my sens, fov and numbers because im lost ahah. You use 60 fov, I'm trying to use the max and, people are saying that the fov changes by scope gun, and im quite lost when it comes to imputing my numbers to make sure that the sens is universal. New Text Document (1).txt
  23. before i watch the measurement is the same but it just feels a bit faster because of a smaller fov i guess
  24. is there a way to get he same sens across all the weapons, scopes etc??
  25. is there a way to get the same senss in rust because each one is slightly different and there's no way to enter all , also MDV 0% when i try to use it it makes all my ads/ scope sens saying its to low so does 100% work just as good?? Tankyou?
