The calculations seems correct, but if you want to match the movement from left to right (or rather from the crosshair to the edge), select MDH 100% instead.

Yes, but note that some armor in Tarkov will change your sensitivity!

Hello,

What am I doing wrong? When I bring my CS: GO or PuBg sensitivty to Hunt: Showdon. I always get a wrong sensitivity - about 1/3 too slow.

As an example, my CS sensitivity is 1.78. At the table with linial measured I need for 180 ° 21 cm - this is correct. After the calculation to Hunt I get the value "0.412256". If I measure this value with the Linial in game I come at 180 ° on more than 30cm.

Hey  boss, new config option called <Attr name="HipMouseSensitivity" value="3"/>

Can you please update calculations when you get time 😎

They also added a fov slider. Value is listed in the attributes.xml as:

 <Attr name="FieldOfView" value="55"/>

so seems to list VFOV despite the in-game slider showing HFOV.

Hunt Showdown conversion seems to be bugged? switching between in-game and config file settings the sensitivities are extremely varied. In-game iron sights will be set to 0.50 but then the config file sets it to 0.70 DPI Wizard able o explain? @DPI Wizard

not sure if how to use the @ so hopefully it worked.

In-game uses Hdeg 16:9 FOV while config file uses vertical degrees. So if you use the same numerical value without changing FOV Type you will get different results :)

So what do you recommend using then, in-game?

Config file since it supports more decimals.

So do I not change the FOV for hunt showdown or put it at 100 like my other games I'm converting from

You must set the FOV to what you use, but be sure to select the correct FOV Type and check the output for the correct Config FOV for the config file.

So if you for instance want the same FOV as in say Overwatch, select Hdeg Res, enter 103 and see the output. It will say

Config FOV: <Attr name="FieldOfView" value="70.53"/>

So set this in the file.

I seriously appreciate the response. Never understood the Hdeg res and stuff. I usually just clicked config and used whatever came out. Didn't know I had to check some other stuff as well.

Real quick. So changing the Hunt config file set the FOV to 67ish but in-game it's still showing 100 FOV. Just wondering what that's about

67 vertical degrees is about 100 horizontal degrees. The game uses different FOV types in-game and in the config file so it can be a bit confusing.
